I do BodyPump and Chisel and RPM. BodyPump does qualify as cardio, but I was new to lifting and it helped me start lifting and I think it is making a difference. I have added weight to the bar, and will continue to do so, I will end up doing a few less repititions at times, but I really like the classes.

This helpful person who provided insight and helped me stop eating 1000 calories and I actually started losing weight when I started following the roadmap. Awesome.

I am a surgical (trauma) ICU nurse, work 12 hrs days. Add me if you like!

Please search for haybales in find members, the link to the spreadsheet is there, follow the instructions and you can get your calories, or google TDEE calculator, complete the online calculator and subtract 20% and eat that many calories. You can do this! Good luck
-
I use TDEE - 20%, which is 1700 calories. Am 47 y.o. Try IPOARM.
-
I do the roadmap too, eating about 1700 calories daily and working out, and losing after holding a plateau for months...eat more!
-
Feel free to add me, I am a nurse, work in an ICU
-
And just to update, I had a loss on the scale today, first time in weeks
-
It does, I am 5"3' and have been the same weight for months, I finally figured out my TDEE (using the roadmap) and less 20% which is 1700 calories. I work out about 1.5 hrs a day x5 days. And today the scale went down!! Plus I feel so much better, Look I have been on WW and eating 1200 calories or less than that, since I…

I just started this week, and even though I have not lost sofar, I was not losing on the 1100 calorie plan. I feel so much better, and I am still working out, but dropped my cardio to 30 min x3 and am lifting more. I finally feel like I may be able to stick to this, I have lost weight in the past with a VLC diet, but I was…

This also

I do TDEE less 20%. But I only started this a week ago, after losing a whole 3 pounds in 6 months. I do not have a lot to lose, but I hope this will help and at least I feel like I am actually eating food. I work out about 2 hrs x5 days a week, mostly lifting.

I have the Moving Comfort one also, measured and bought on Amazon and fits fine. The blue ones are 28 usd at the moment
-
I don't know, are you losing weight with your current calories?
-
Do the road map (search roadmap) and up your calories to your TDEE less 20%
-
about 200
-
I list that under cardio - weight lifting if that helps

2 weeks is not a very long time, if you were not tracking your food and working out would your results be better or worse? I am on a 3 month plateau but I am sure that if I were to throw in the towel I would just gain. Keep going!
-
I am doing this, started 2 days ago, after a 5 month plateau, working out x5 days a week and eating 1200 calories. I feel tons better! And am nicer to others :) Feel free to add me if you would like.

I did see it and it helped me decide to eat vegan as much as I can
-
Very informative, and I have changed my calories to between 1450 and 1550, I feel better, and I think I will see a loss too, I was not losing at 1200 after the first few weeks
-
I started yesterday

Healthy and at a healthy weight

Thank you for the info, I have managed to lose practically nothing eating 1200 calories for months, am now eating more, will see what happens!
-
I agree that it is kind of scary to start eating more, but I think it makes sense. I have been stuck at my current weight for the past 4 months or so, and decided today to up my calories to 1400. I do work out quite a bit, but I don't think I am an athlethe or anything like that. MFP over estimates excersise cals (IMO), so…
-
That is so encouraging! I was stuck for 10 weeks....and finally 2 pounds off now, thanks for the update and congratulations on your progress.

A protein shake, an apple, almonds, water, tea; don't have cookies in the house (at least I can't have any around).

I do Pilates or Yoga and ride the excercise bike on the days I am recovering from lifting. It seems to work ok.
