Amsterdam! Rain and more rain, and cold! 37 degrees

Protein powder in a shaker type of cup, add water later. Apple, and other kind of fruit, grapes, apricots, orange. Some type of protein bar. I work as a nurse, so eat on the run more or less.

Thank you for sharing and your blood work looks amazing!! Way to go.

Hi there! I live in the Netherlands too! Great you ride your bike! I hope you find a gym you like. Who knows maybe there will be some fun classes you can be a part off. I wouldn't worry about anyone else there. They are all busy worrying about themselves. ;)

I am 5 ft 4 and need to lose another 14 pounds or so. I did the 1200 cal diet for years (like 20) and would lose 3 pounds and gain 4 and lose 3....went to the gym 4x a week and worked 3 12 hr shifts as an RN, on my feet the whole shift. So. I finally just bought a fitbit, walk about 10 to 15 thousand steps a day and eat…

Weigh all your food. I don't think you are eating enough.
-
Every day, 1 tall with whole milk, no sugar. Awesome

I think that is difficult when you start feeing constraint by your calories. Can you increase you excersise so you can eat a little more? I eat a lot of fruit and tomatoes en red peppers and cucumbers since they are all lower in calories. And a kind of greel yogurt with protein powder added to it and that is filing and…

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1080242-a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants You might want to read this excellent post ^^ 1000 calories net consumed a day is not enough, in my opinion, and you probably don't have enought to lose to expect to lose at 1 pound a week. Eat part of your excersise…

Thank you! I have finally stepped away from the 1200 calories and not eating back excercise calories...and surprise! I am losing weight and feeling so much better It only took like 20 years...

I have the Fitbit zip, syncs with MFP. I love it

Do this, and look in the search box on here for a post called "on the road to my sexy pants" and look on ScoobyDoo (google) and calculate your BMR and your TDEE and eat enough. Low calorie diets don't work, I have been on one for years. And really it won't work and is not sustainable. Eat food. Eat mostly healthy food. Go…

Don't eat 800 calories. That does not help
-
I have a fitbit and love it
-
You answered your own question! Increase your calories to TDEE subtract something reasonable, like 10 or 20% and hoppa! I am speaking from experience, I did VLC diets for years and would lose a little and get stuck and now I am eating (what a concept) my excersise calories back, and have lost weight, I have it set to lose…

Have you recalculated your BMR, TDEE? There is a scoobydoo calculator, or haybales has an awesome spreadsheet to figure out data.

Wow! Congratulations on your great success and really good about your A1C!

Hi there ~ You might want to make your own smoothie and use fesh fruit, vegs, and protein powder, and water or milk or whatever liquid. I think the smoothie you currently use does not have a lot of calories and 9 grams of protein is not a lot. If you are hungry, eat something!

Hahaha!

Hi there! Feel free to add me. I live in the Netherlands :) en er zijn nog een paar. Nederlanders op mijn newsfeed

Just turn off the sugar tracker on MFP. Fruit has fiber. Which is good. And fructose. Doesn't matter.
-
I just bought a FitBit zip and I love it. Syncs walking, running, with MFP. Awesome
-
I joined a running class recently. I had done other types of excercise but nver running. There is a trainer, and other people so everyone can encourage each other. I like it a lot. I think the c25k app is really good too.
-
I started 3 weeks ago, I am 48. Am currently running 6K and working up to something more eventually. Started slow and am still slow, but I love it.
-
Really? Perhaps following MFP recommendations and eating would be a good idea.

I ate around 1200 calories for a lot of years and did not eat my exercise calories back either. This is a very bad idea. Sure you lose weight initially and then hover around the same weight, up 0.5 pounds down 1.0 pound and so forth. It becomes extremely frustrating, so then I tended to just quit for a while and start the…
