Hey there! Weight loss is quite the adventure! Congratulations on starting your journey. I suggest making little goals. Like lose 4 pounds in 3 week - but give yourself a date to do it by. If you love chips then your goal could be to have chips 3 out of 7 days a week and accomplish this goal by a certain date. These little…

I agree, after losing 200 pounds I shaved my head and donated my hair to Locks of Love for their breast cancer patient drive. It felt sooooooooo goooooooood! Please post pics after it's done!

Sometimes I have felt a little frustrated, but I've never been emotionally upset about a gain. It's just as hard on the body to be mentally hurtful to ourselves as it is to eat bad foods. Stay consistent, you're going to see gains and you're going to see losses - it's like our retirement plans and stocks. Everything…

I was thinking about this post as I make breakfast for my family and it dawned on me. Before I started my weight loss journey, the only time I EVER stepped on a scale was during a visit to the docs office. I bet a lot of us never stepped on the scale every week before we started our journey. This to me means - we would…

Honestly I haven't done either. But I recently saw "the Biggest Loser" for the first time ever, and was floored by what these people can do. They work so hard. So now I push all of my work outs to the limits and beyond and I've been seeing 6 to 12 pound loses during each weigh ins.

You my dear are inspirational. You are so correct, stay consistent, ups and downs are normal and should be expected. Your post is very motivational and positive. Thank you so much for sharing! :flowerforyou:

Good morning, It looks as though you've changed your calorie intake by increasing 500 calories a day? Doing this alone can take 5 to 8 weeks for your body to adjust to. I suggest being careful on the salt intake, but if it's consistent with the amount of calories you are consuming then I wouldn't worry too much. When our…

LOL, that made me think of the song! Welcome to you and well wishes on your weight loss journey! You can do this!

Nice job! Consistency and acceptance really goes a long way! Keep up the great work, you're an inspiration to us all. :flowerforyou:

Even coffee grounds contain calories. I would suggest googling the name of the place you bought your coffee plus nutritional info. like: starbucks+nutritional information and see what you get. When you buy coffee's like this too you can ask them what the nutritional info is, they will have the info, then you know what…

We have this happening in our office as well. I close a close group of friends all on the same journey and we all work well and compliment each other. But this happens more when people are jealous they see you making progress and their either not making progress of they are moving in the other direction. If you'd still…

This may be due to dehydrating yourself due to the stomach virus you had. You may see a flux in weight over the next few days until your body regulates back to normal. It does feel darn good to loose weight! Congrats!

I suggest eating a few more calores, I assume you teach Zumba the same times each week? Your body is probably used to this. Is there anyway to squueze in like an after dinner walk for 15 to 20 minutes to wake your system back up? Maybe early morning if your an early bird. Keep your body guessing. :flowerforyou:

Very motivating! Great job on your weightloss by the way! Every step counts, and every step taken... well feels pretty darn good! :flowerforyou:

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! This is truly amazing :flowerforyou:

:flowerforyou: It also sounds like training will get you right back down there, and I've noticed that after slipping up for a bit, and then climbing back on board, I not only get to where I was but then surpass that aplenty! Good luck with your training I hope that goes well for you

I'm a guilty weigh in every day kinda gal! 212 pounds down and I still do it. I don't fret, but weighing in every day mentally helped me stay on goal calroie wise. You will and probably do see lots of fluxing. It's normal to see this. Make sure you're also taking measurements.

I have no clue! have you checked the freezer section of the store? You make some burgers ahead of time and nuke them when wanted? Sorry I'm not much help :)

Unfortunately, there is no answer for this. Everyone's bodies are so different and flux so much, not one person could give you a yes or no answer. I doubt there will be much of a change, but it's not uncommon to see one. take a day off is really good for your body, to mend and heal from working so hard! You have great…

HI!!! ist off, there's no "I think", secondly... try as hard as you can not to look back at the past. Look at today and then tomorrow. You can do this... be all about 1 meal at a time. It's hard to keep trying sometimes. I hope you find lots of motivation here as-well-as support! We're all routing for you :flowerforyou:

It's so easy to be hard on ourselves when we've fallen off a "new lifestyle" I agree. I know you will regroup and continue your weightloss journey without fault. Have a wonderful week. Remember: You start each day with no mistakes in it.... "yet" :flowerforyou:

Mine has remained the 28 day cycle. No changes for me. I'm not on a pill, It's interesting to see how different things like this are for everyone.

I have this same issue with chocolate!!! I can't keep it in the house. Just try one day without having any ice cream in your house... you can do it! If you need it the second day, then get one of those little 1 serving size cups and no more. Then try another day without it. They say it takes 17 days to make or break a…

WHAT I FORGOT TO SAY: Don't ever deprive yourself of something you love... it's not worth the agony. Change it up, maybe instead of every day, try every other day, or try morning instead of afternoon... you'll find your niche and it will be all water under the bridge! Let us know what you decide to do

ME ME ME ME ME ME ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I make home made artisan boule bread!!! That nice crunchy crust and gooeyness in the middle! I refuse to buy bread from the store. BUT!!! If you're concerned, then eat a sandwich 40 minutes before working out, then your body will have good carbs for energy. My system is to eat bread…

Yes, I drink lots of water a day, between 1.5 - 2 gallons. I never eat chemically modified foods that are reduced fat or margarine... these are just laden with chemicals that can cause cancers later in life. I don't diet, I just eat things in moderation and exercise. The one thing that really has helped me is to keep…

I consume 1.5 to 2 gallons of water a day. I sleep about 3 to 5 hours every 24 hours. 3 weeks of hitting the potty every 20 minutes until my body adjusted to having so much liquid. I say - drink more than 8 and the rest is really up to you :)
