  • I mainly take them for energy because I really don't like tea and coffee does not agree with me. I used to drink 2-3 red bulls a day and started taking these instead. Is there anything else out there that can boost my energy a bit?
  • Does the buddybug count the calories that you eat or do you manually enter them online?
  • Thank you! You're always so helpful. It's so hard to eat that much now that I'm eating helthier. I'm going to try some of the things posted here like greek yogurt, oatmeal, and nuts.
  • Thanks everyone for the great ideas. I'm 5'6, 239 lbs, 27 years old and I workout 60 mins 6 days a week. 3 days I do cardio 3 days I do strength training. Thanks!
  • Thanks, I'm eating all of that except the oatmeal. That's a good idea though. My biggest problem is that I don't like eating breakfast at all plus not to mention that I don't have time for it so I drink a protein shake with milk which is like 280 cal.
  • And how exactly is this going to help me???
  • Thanks everyone! I didn't even think of a rest week sounds good to me lol.
  • Thank you. I manually changed the MFP's for the excersice bacause I know how many calories I burnt from the machines. And I'm planning on going to a weight management health clinic soon I just need to come up with the money for the initial consultation then I only pay a copayment from then on. I can't wait to go :(
  • Thank you!
  • Thanks everyone! I Didn't quite get to my BMR today :( hopefully I will tomorrow. It seems like I cannot meet the 2300 calories that Im supposed to eat unless I eat some sort of "junk" :( How bad would it be if I just eat the 1800 BMR everyday?
  • Thanks everyone! It really helps me understand a bit more about nutrition. All I know is salads, fruits, and veggies. Don't really know what breads besides whole grain wheat and cheeses and such that are good for you.
  • Thanks, but I don't have any of those synthoms.
  • This makes so much more sense now that I know all that it means. Can I really eat 2349 calories a day and still loose weight? I just find that its too much.
  • Thanks a bunch! It's very helpful. So I'm supposed to eat 2349 calories a day?
  • All you guys are so helpful. I'm learning so much already.
  • Sometimes I do get hungry late at night like at 10pm but I ignore it because I'm getting ready to go to bed anyways so it's easier to ignore. Is that a bad thing? Maybe it's my body's way to tell me that I didn't eat enough.
  • Thanks!
  • Thanks I will read this. I'm just not a breakfast person, I will only eat breakfast on Sundays or while I'm on vacation that's all. I have been skipping breakfast for lots of years and I heard that's my biggest mistake so a shake in the morning is perfect for me works perfect for me and I drink it right after my morning…
  • I will do this tonight thanks!
  • I didnt know this. I guess too much of a good thing is a bad thing. Do you think I should cut back to 4 days a week just 60 mins a day?
  • Thank you I will read this tonight.
  • I put this weight in the last 5 years. And I really don't care how long it takes me really. I just want to be healthy I have the rest of my life to do this I don't want to loose weight and look horrible I want to look good and healthy. It's just that I don't know what to eat and such. Before I had my daughter I could eat…
  • I think that is exactly what I'm doing. I was telling my coworker the other day that I didn't understand why when I ate little and healthy I wouldn't loose any weight but when I "cheated" and ate something bad for me like pizza or Chinese one day food I lost weight.
  • I take an OxyElite Pro 30 mins before my work out and that gives me a ton of energy!
  • Thanks everyone for your helpful advise I'm reading them all and will take them all into consideration.
  • I wanted to loose 2 per week, is that a bad idea? If you think 1 a week is better can you explain why if you can. I work out for 60 mins mon-fri and 90 mins on Saturdays. I do a combo or cardio and strength machines. I haven't done any lifting yet because I'm not sure how.
  • How did you go about finding exactly what you needed to eat?
  • I just started going to the gym 6-7 days a week because it gives me energy and when I go 3-4 days I tend to skip more days and the eventually stop working out. I don't want to stop being so active so now I have to find out ho much and what to eat to help me nurious my body and still loose weight.
