I'd just like to point out that breaded fish sticks, chicken nuggets, and onion rings are not low carb unless made with alternatives to the breading.

Usually my body adapts by the second week of dropping calories. I will forget to eat because I don't feel hungry very often. You just need to make sure you are drinking lots of water.

I have this issue when I bake shrimp in a butter bath. The only solution I've managed to come up with is measuring the ingredients that I use and then weighing what pours off. This only works for super wet recipes that don't get baked dry.

I've never had coconut oil before. Is it palatable on it's own or is it usually mixed into other foods?

Why have I never thought of this?!!!! I used to love the overly crispy pepperoni on pizza.

Target for workout clothes. They have a clearance rack in the fitness section that I scope out every time I am there. I've gotten great sports bras and yoga/workout pants for $5-$10. I usually spend money on quality shoes at sporting good stores because I have bad knees.

You should probably see a doctor if you can't physically eat more than 900 calories.

I eat chocolate flavored protein bars to curb my cravings and get something positive from it. However, if you can fit he calories into your goals, go for it.

If you are coming off of a crazy soup diet, you should stick to a side salad or something with a small amount of meat. Your stomach is going to be hurting if you toss back a burger right off the bat.

I make rewards for sticking to my calorie goals non-food related. This helps me by encouraging to change my reward system away from food. If I'm going out to eat with my family or having pizza night. I don't deny myself and still maintain my calorie goals by eating less of the bad food and working out more.

You should talk to your OB, pediatrician, or contact La Leche League. They might be able to give you a good idea of what a proper nursing diet and calorie deficiency is. It really is dependent on your child's age and how much you are producing. Also, make sure you are drinking a ton of water. You could be holding on to…

For the sake of my children's sanity, we have pizza and movie night every Friday. Since I know it is coming, I work it in to my calorie goals for the day. I work out extra hard and eat lighter during the day to make room. I lost 20 lbs, pre pregnancy, using this method. It really worked for me. Otherwise, when we go out, I…

If you are worried about eating too many calories back because of overestimating calories burned during workout, get yourself a good quality heart rate monitor. You don't have to eat all your calories back, but you can work on a percentage that doesn't feel like sabotaging your deficit.

I am on week 2. I have lost about 10 lbs so far and about 5 inches over all. I also have been watching my calorie intake (1500 kcal). I am 5'6" and started at 199 lbs. I was going from no exercise to Insanity. It hurt all over at first, but if you can get through that, it will really work. It is a good start because it…

I'm getting started on losing my baby weight. I gained about 40 lbs thanks to bed rest and stress from complications. I'm really looking forward to feeling more like myself again. Everyone can feel free to add me.

Are you using a heart rate monitor to track your calories burned? It is possible that you may be overestimating your calorie needs.

Yay! That would be a big victory for me too!

Feel free to add, everyone!
