Hi, i'm just back on MFP after gaining back the weight lost in 2012/ 2013. This time I need to lose around 30 kg and keep it off. Happy to 'friend' others to try supporting each other-just add me if you like. Jane

Hi, Add me if you like. I'm on MFP most days (even though it told me yesterday I had only logged in for 5 days). I've been here since 2012. jane

I'm a bit of a nomad really. I'm originally from Motherwell in Scotland, call Pafos in Cyprus home but presently work & live in Dubai UAE. jane

Does it really matter? As long as you weigh-in at the same 'time' each time you will be fine. I weigh myself every other day just to track how I'm doing but log only the one on a Monday morning (middle of week for me here).

Galaxy bubbles hot chocolate with orange or Options hot chocolate with mint. Very chocolatey and tasty. Works for me.

I have a Nike Fuel band. Feel it is a bit of a waste of money and wouldn't get another.

On the way there on 1200 Kcal/day, although I don't beat myself up if I go a wee bit over. I try not to dip too much below the 1200 though. So far 30kg down.

I agree with everyone else, it is okay as long as it isn't every night. I could just eat a channa & mushroom masala from Ravis.
-
Green veggie 'stay fresh' bags from Lakeland. They do work.

Hi I weight myself a couple of times a week but only log on my 'official weigh in morning' on Monday. I picked Monday on purpose to try to get me to keep on tract at the weekend. Exercise calories I try not to eat back but they give that little bit of leeway, if needed. That is, when I actually exercise to accrue some…

Hi As others have said everyone is different. I've lost 69lbs since mid-June last year but since February nothing . I've hit a plateau

Yes everything counts to me. Fruit can contain a lot of sugar too so watch that.
-
What a good idea for the cabbage. I really like the sound of this meal..

Except for the last couple of days (I've been on a work related exercise so food choices are limited) every evening as long as it fits in with my calorie & sugar macros. Usually low fat rice pudding, small chocolate bar or something else similar.Works for me. .Don't deprive yourself totally otherwise you'll end up eating…

Hi, welcome to MFP and to the healthcare group. This isn't a very active group though. We must all be too busy working!!! Feel free to friend me if you like. I'm in radiology in Dubai.

Me too. Glasses keep slipping down my nose and the new shoes I bought yesterday are 2 sizes smaller than the size I,ve been for years. (UK size 5 instead of a 6).
-
I have something similar too. Instead of almonds I add sunflower and pumpkin seeds to my porridge oats, along with golden flax seeds. Tasty.

I'm going to try to keep on track over the next few days. I'll be logging everything as usual and will try keeping away from the prawn cocktail, mince pies and Christmas pudding. I have earmarked a slice of Christmas cake though for Christmas day, but it will only be a small slice.

Hi, Don't worry too much about a day over. We all do it at sometimes. Just don't make a habit of it. Make sure you log everything even if it takes you over your calorie limit. This will allow you to see where you could improve on your choices for next time. Good luck. I try to log on everyday so can try helping you along…

Sounds very Greek. I'll be giving it a try.

What decedance LOL. Agree that bailleys would be an interesting addition. Anyone worked out how many days calories a mug would be? I'll stick with my Options Belgian Chocolate hot chocolate at 40 calories per mug.

Well done. It must have been the best feeling out.
-
warm apples & cinnamon sounds good. I'll have to try it as for me it is usuallywith honey, pumpkin & sunflower seeds.
-
I love my Nespresso machine and the coffee it makes.
-
Natural yoghurt with a tablespoon of honey, and a few sunflower, pumpkin & flax seeds. Also add gogi berries or raisins occasionally for a change.

Welcome to MFP. I agree with the previous posting regarding logging everything (good and bad). I've been using MFP since June and log everything I eat & drink (even if it is something I shouldn't have had). It definitely helps me stick to my eating goals.

Hi Not near you but can understand how you feel. Happy to be a long distance 'buddy' if you like for support if you want to add me to your friends. I started down this FINAL weight loss journey in June but still have around 15-20kg to go (give or take a kg or 2). I wish you every success.

yep, I'd cut off the fat and enjoy:happy:
