  • I've had 3 serious invasive surgeries in the past 6 years (Lumbar Spine, Knee, and shoulder about 8 months ago)...so I can REALLY RELATE! Were you assigned rehab exercises? Those are sooooo important! and trust me, you get a workout!!!! by doing your rehab, you'll increase your recovery time, and give you that needed…
  • I typically do every Monday morning. In addition to the same day of week, try to stay consistent with the SAME scale and time of day. :)
  • LOVE IT!....I liked Cucumbers before, now I LOVE them :)
  • Whats this Team Fit? Tell me about it?
  • SOUNDS GREAT!!! I'm in! I love a challenge!!!!!! CW: 155 Marathon Relay W (September): 145 GW: 135
  • I have the same problem....I too am a trainer and have 5 years experience with this. Dieting, like exercise needs to have adjustments made alone the way. For me personally, I know when I hit that "plateau" point/weight, I need to adjust my exercise cardiovascular intensity and decrease my carb intake accordingly. In a way,…
  • I agree with this. Perhaps he's just not taking your serious yet. Perhaps he doesn't realize how important this process is to you. Keep at it!! I used to have the same problem with my boyfriend, now he understands and is is more important and supportive than ever! Also had the same problem with my friends, but now they…
  • The motivation is something that comes...it seems like as people begin to see the slightest changes for the better the more motivated they become. And it's not sometimes about being motivated, its about making things habit and routine. Like; trust me, many days I wanna sleep in, not get up and workout, but I'm just so used…
  • Cardio should be done 3-5 days a week. And Strength Training should be done 2-3 days a week. You have to do both to get true results. cardio should be 20-60mins, and strength should be about 2-4 sets, with 8-12 reps in your case. You need a rest day. There should be at least one day a week where you don't do either, and…
  • Yes I'm only having one...and truth be told maybe not even that.
  • Perfect, Vodka and Diet Tonic with a lemon! ;)
  • I like the sound of this. I don't know much about it. I'll look into it! Thanks!
  • Hey thanks everyone on the feedback. I'm a personal Trainer and a Aerobics instructor, I teach Spin, Step, and some definitions classes. It sounds like I'm probably too advanced for Wii Fit. Which is just what I suspected, and why I started this tread. I'm afraid that I'll spend all that money on it...and not not enough in…
  • definitely try rolling the foot over a small ball...or...a cold water bottle. I am confident that will help you the most. In this case, sounds like a typically overuse injury. And take this serious, this can often cause stress-fractures in the foot if ignored!
  • Plantar Facitis, could be...most likely not. When you wake up in the morning are u in most pain? If you are perhaps then. Pain on the bottom of the foot can be due to the calves, Gasroc, and Solius muscles being tense. You can't really "stretch" the bottom of your foot, for theres no muscles there any way, just tissue, or…
  • OMG how cute!!!! Adorable...how about Stormi....it's darker colors...but cute at the same time, masculine name
  • I've herd this too...from numerous other sources...
  • I had knee reconstructive surgery last summer...at age 20... and I was on crutches for roughly 3 months...it was awful! and soo hard! My armpits hurt so bad! and like you said I would have normally jumped to go shopping, but just "Crutching" from the car to the entrance door made me break a sweat! and that "unit"…
  • omg!! I'm just under 5 feet! I never new this! I'm currently set at 1200 cals...however my BMR is roughly 1350. I'm seriously considering altering mine to 1000 now. Thanks for sharing!
  • to be honest...I don't think that machine is enough. I'd recommend adding some other cardio with it. occasionally run, or bike or walk perhaps. That machine works you, you don't work it...? In all reality, that machine could count as some exercise, but it's more of a theraputic, and rehabilitaive type of device.
  • I run 5k's....and trust me, I cant say this enough treadmills SUCK! I'd rather train outside any day!! If you can run outside thats the best part. My next advice is MP3 Player!! I run sooo much better and longer to music. It's funny that if a song comes on that I really like, and has a fast beat, I catch myself running all…

  • Strength Training is still a style of Cardio...it's spiking and lowering your heart rate constantly! Thus, you can actually add "Strength Training" under Cardio in the Exercise log.
  • The fact that you notice and are making this thread shows me that your motivated. Keep trying, and making an effort. Weight loss is not a cookie cutter process. There WILL be the occasional downs...or perhaps up's is better here, hahaha. Those occasional ups in weight will only help to keep you motived. They often will…
  • I knew the High Fructose Corn Syrup thing...thats what worried me the most. I'm really really trying to avoid that at all costs. But I just can't dump my PB&J!! I've never bought Polaner before, so thats on my shopping list now! Thanks!
  • thanks!! Like you and a few other said, I'll give the all-fruit thing a try.
  • I have this same problem. I get soo hungry. This is a horrible excuse, but I literally feel as if I lose all self-discipline for eating "right" during that time. And quite honestly, I avoid the scale at all costs! AWWW... I like the raw veggie and water advice. Cuz, I swear I don't even think about what I eat, I just am on…
  • I also wouldn't mind being a Cullen... specially since they drive nice cars and fast ;)
  • I never used Coconut oil....I like the sounds of it. I'm going to give it a try! :) Otherwise my favorite is EVOO as well...I use it for everything that needs oil!
