THANK YOU!! I have been missing my percentages breakdown so much :) I love love love this script (and you for helping me fix it, of course)!

i get a manicure/pedicure for every 5 lbs lost. now that i'm getting closer to goal, that only happens every few months, so i feel like its money well spent :)
-
awesome, thanks!

I also subtract out BMR, and on top of that, usually about 15% of the total as a cushion for error--but that's just to make sure I don't eat back more than I burned!

Polar HRM. Those little "you're out of your target HR zone" beeps are so motivating! :)

low-carbers have something called "oopsie rolls" made from eggs and cream cheese. (a google search should bring up the recipe). the texture is not bread like, but they taste just fine and work as a bread substitute.

-
i wrap my 'sandwiches' in lettuce--my current go-to lunch is turkey, avacado and turkey bacon wrapped in an iceberg lettuce leaf.
-
bump, thanks!

i had a similar question--i already have running shoes but will be doing cross fit several times a week. any shoe recommendations for lifting/cross training?

This is the most effective weight loss method for me, at least historically. Been stuck at a plateau for about 2 months now, so I resigned to give this another go! I'd love to have some diaries to look at!

This is if you want it to be a filler for tacos or taco salad--i leave this out when i want to turn it into something else, like shredded chicken for chicken salad sandwiches 1/2 cup sour cream (FF, or sub in greek…

I'm in! I had been thinking about cutting back on weekday alcohol so this is great motivation. My biggest problem is not just the calories from alcohol, but what ends up following! After that second glass of wine, I always end up eating more dinner or dessert. Alcohol is not only calories for me, it leads to poor food…

I do so many of these things! A quick, no-work-at-all sub for me is just frozen berries with some truvia and cool whip on top. but getting out that blender and throwing in some frozen bananas, sugar free syrup and/or cocoa is pretty amazing

i like to make my own trail mix, my simplified version is just almonds and dried cranberries. I also like to take a plain rice cake and add 1/2 TBSP peanut butter and 1/2 TBSP (reduced sugar) jam (~ about 100 cals)

bumping this, because I've thought about buying one!

keeping my eye out for this, thanks!

Just do your research. My father is a plastic surgeon and he spends as much time fixing other doc's botched jobs as he does performing original operations. (exaggerating, of course, but you get my point). Make absolutely sure your surgeon is Board certified (check http://www.plasticsurgery.org/) and talk to people who have…

-
no answer, but i'll bump! I'm looking at HR monitors too, and same deal--all i'm looking for is accurate calorie measure as well. PS--its funny that you mentioned the fact that FT4 comes in pink--that's why I want that one too :)
-
same, it also helps to know that people might be looking at my diary!
-
bump, love this idea
-
sorry i can't be of help but i have the same question! I have it narrowed down between the Suunto M2 or the Polar FT4 ( I am looking for something pretty simple but accurate). Help is appreciated!

Wow what a great website! I've been wanting to reduce carbs as well, and it looks like she has some good (and more importantly, easy) recipes.

there is a line of workout wear called "the girls" that has a lot of tummy control options. http://www.thegirlsapparel.com/press.asp Its really affordable, i think--but you can also find their stuff at TJMaxx every once in awhile for even cheaper.
