i did the 30 day shred over the summer and it's what really helped me kick off my progress! It's an amazing video, plus I love JM (own two of her other DVDs, buying a third this weekend!) It get difficult sometimes, but you just have to think to yourself why you're doing it. You want to look good, but more importantly,…

I'm agreeing with the people who say HRM's. I love mine... but I also only take about 80% of the calories I've burnt and log them. I figure with exercise, my body is still benefiting, but If I think I can eat a little less for the day (because I try to eat some of mine back) I'll be fine. Blah, basically, I love my HRM and…

I'm going to be a junior in a matter of two weeks ((yikes!) But I understand that kind of pressure. My roommate told me I look great, but that I need to cut the intensity, something I'm not planning on doing while I'm school. So I can help with the motivation part :D I plan on dragging a few of my friends with me to the…

protein is one of the things I normally go over in, and I'm still on a steady track of losing weight. I wouldn't worry. Plus it helps with muscle :D

I know they have a few dishes that won't kill you, but whenever I know I'm going out to eat, I exercise a little more so I don't have to limit myself as much as to what I can/can't have.

good to know... I actually do love fruit, I just don't ever snack on it... that being said, I think I might have a nectarine right now.

Alright, I'll try these all this week! As soon as someone mentioned smoothies, I started looking up some that I can make for breakfast this upcoming week. I really appreciate it guys! I've been on here for almost 2 months, but I'm still new to the whole eating right and exercising.

I, like many ohers in here, have the FT4 and I really do love it. It's so comfortable. I was a little hesitant about the chest strap but you really can't feel it, even when you're doing ab work or something where youre crunching.

I used 30DS to help kick start my fitness... I also just walked on the treadmill/took it easy on the elliptical.

I think this is one of the cutest stories I've read on here. Congrats on your 10 years with your high school sweetheart, your adorable son and on the weightloss. Truely an inspiration.

The good thing with coffee is as long as you don't pour a ton of milk and sugar in there, it's not wicked bad for you. My coffee from dunkin donuts is about 15 calories for a medium, but then again I drink mine iced and black. The bad thing with coffee is it dehydrates you, which makes you want to drink more water..…

So, as long as I'm staying around 1340 calories a day, and if I've exercised, it's okay if, let's say, my net calories are like 700 or something, if I've worked out...
