  • Yup we have one!
  • Feel free to add me. I had a radical hysterectomy back in August of 2012 and they took my uterus, cervix, ovaries and tubes. I'm basically a hollow shell!! I will admit I feel ten times better, have chosen to watch what I eat and have lost 25 lbs. I spin, walk and strength train too. I don't miss PMS but the hot flashes…
  • I started spinning classes a year ago and boy has it helped. I actually ran a 5 mile run the other day and if it wasn't for my knees bothering me I could have run a marathon!!

  • Great job!!! It's amazing how my height, weight and loss are like yours EXACTLY! My only problem now is everyone telling me I'm too skinny and why did I even want to lose weight to begin with. How about you, do you get the same remarks?? Also, I can't stress strength training enough. That is truly what has kept my weight…
  • 1/4 C Old Fashion Oats 1/4 C Skim Milk (or whatever you prefer) 1 container of Greek Yogurt (flavored is delicious also) 1 TBS of Flaxseed or Chia Seeds Fruit or nuts if desired (I usually wait until the morning to add these ingredients)
  • Definitely not! I'm 53, lost 25 lbs and feel great. Never give up. Come November I will have been logging for a year and I'm so proud of myself and intend to keep it up. It was nice buying smaller clothes instead of larger.
  • ^^Agree! It's not that you "can't" eat the food it's because you "don't want to".
  • Same here regarding the strap - I love my FT 4
  • Magic Shell is a great idea!
  • I love it also. Apple and PB2 every day - I haven't used regular peanut butter since I started MFP. There is also a recipe for a frozen treat using PB2. It consists of cool whip, PB2 and a little bit of chocolate fat free syrup. Easy and yummy.
  • I LOVE spinning. I go twice a week at least and sweat my butt off. I also do strength training on the other days just to keep an all around exercise routine.
  • This is exactly how I started, a .5 lb/week. It took a good 3 weeks for any change in weight but let me say, once the weight started coming off, it came off, and rather quickly. I actually lost more than I had planned and have been doing this since November of 2012. Also, I included 5 work-out days and 3 strength training…
  • I LOVE IT!!! I am actually eating it now with my apple. I've also spread it on a rice cake with strawberries and bananas. My husband's trainer had turned him on to it and I have not used regular pb since.

  • In the morning I start off with apple/cinnamon water. Put two Fugi apples cut up, 2 sticks of cinnamon and cover it half way with ice in a pitcher and than add water. Let it sit over night and it is really refreshing. I also drink lemon water as a change up in the morning. After that, it's regular water all day long.…
  • Definitely exercise more than twice a week, if you can, and stay @ your 1500 calories per day. I've stayed at my 1400 calories per day and exercise about 5 times a week (which includes strength training) and have lost 19 lbs in 3 months. It is tough in the beginning but once your clothes start falling off, it is well worth…
  • I only wanted to lose around 5 lbs in the beginning so I set my goal to lose .5 lb a week. To this day I have lost 18 lbs (in 3 months time) and I was allotted around 1300-1400 calories at first. Then I started doing cardio 5x a week and strength training 3x a week which has tremendously helped the weight come off,…
