Usually... It's especially bad if we're eating out or eating something that isn't particularly good for you, like ice cream or dessert. Like, I feel fine eating cake occasionally by myself, but I would never eat it in public.

No, I'm usually a very stable person. It's really just anxiety about eating and food :(

My sister, looking at me, "You know, I think fat people are happier... No offense?"

@amy Definitely Aurora from Sleeping Beauty!!

Aahahhaha omggg so true! It's even worse when it's just one person walking toward you and they take up the whole sidewalk. It's like, "I know you can see me coming! Move three inches to the left, man!" haha

I was going to say, when you go to the bathroom before your run and then when you're "x" miles away from home and absolutely HAVE to go to the bathroom and there's nowhere to go. Aaaaah. Hate it.... but holy fricking cow. You win. Gah haha

omggg I LOVE rocket (also known as arugala in the US). I have no idea what makes it so good, but I can literally eat it by the bag with a little balsamic vinegar and salmon... or even by itself. Yum.

Oops, sorry that formatting was abysmal. Check out the link itself for a clearer table. Conclusion: If you're looking for nuts with low saturated fat, go for chestnuts (lol, not actually nut-like but whatever), pistachios, cashews, peanuts, and almonds.
-
Nuts are super healthy for you. They're high in unsaturated fats (thought to lower bad cholesterol levels), rich in omega-3 fatty acids (help regulate your heart health!, also found in many kinds of fish but nuts are a good plant-based source), high in fiber (lowers cholesterol, increases satiety, thought to prevent…

OMG ME. Wheat bread is the worst offender, but in lieu of wheat (I never buy ANYTHING with wheat when I know my period is coming up lol), bananas and oatmeal are the first to go, haha.

I definitely agree with AZKristi. Although I'm miffed when others fail to notice my weight loss, I've failed to notice others' success as well! My roommate lost 20 pounds last year, and I hadn't realized it until I saw pictures of her from the beginning of the year. I'm sure she felt better and looked better, but until I…

Try mixing in an egg (as others have said) or soaking your oats in water+yogurt+milk overnight to add some protein and make your oatmeal heartier

omggg you're a goddess. making this on wed! :D
-
Zomgggg I did that last summer too for a month or so too, but I felt like I never had enough energy to properly exercise during the week lol. Now, I'm just doing the traditional calorie cutting (1200+half of what I burned that day) + daily running (5-10 mi/day except rest day on Wed) I'm 5'2" and currently at 124lbs (as of…

The yahoo article you were reading (assumedly this one? : http://shine.yahoo.com/fashion/did-size-6-become-plus-size-122500787.html) was actually saying that size 6 models often pose for plus-sized magazines, NOT that size 6 is the new "plus size." It agreed with you, that this kind of mis-marketing is nonideal. As for me,…

Haha, I always love me some research. :) I would love to see how these companies have maneuvered their way into the markets of developing countries and how their megabrands have affected local economies and health...
-
D: Ohmygosh, wow! Haha, I've been so brainwashed by marketing! Thanks for sharing
-
Granted, there are some great brands in there. I'm not going to knock Gerber or Quaker, lol, but there are some gross items mixed in too. The sheer size of these megabrands is surprising too.
-
lolzomg haha, i'm seriously craving sinigang right now!! add me if you'd like!

Just fyi, being lactose intolerant is not a food allergy at all. Lactose intolerance involves being unable to digest lactose; it has nothing to do with your immune system. Being allergic to milk means that your body has antibodies that actually will attack milk protein and cause an autoimmune reaction.

Foods: Oat, wheat, soy, corn, milk, tomatoes, PEANUTS, cashews, citrus fruits Grasses/trees: Literally all 60 of them that I was tested for, except African savannah grass (lol, say what?) Drugs: bacitracin (a common antibiotic, used in meds like neosporin) Other: dust mites, cats, dogs, bed bugs Yeah, and I'm not even…

This was kind of described before by the fried apple and cinnamon in egg combination, but I second the cinnamon fruit filled omelette! My fav recipe can be found here: http://www.edibleperspective.com/home/2010/5/15/motto-for-the-day.html I've written it below here too: 2 eggs 2 tbsp milk (any kind) small pinch of salt 1…

LOVE the TEDx talks! Thx for sharing :)

Same here! It's a pain in the butt, but as long as you don't scratch the hives, you won't have any permanent damage. I suggest working out in very light clothing (wear "sweat wicking" clothing, not cotton, so that your sweat evaporates quickly) and taking a shower right away when you get home. Showering with antibacterial…

Always keep a full glass of water (uncovered) on your desk at work! I guarantee you that you'll drink it without realizing it :)
-
Holy cow, this is so cool! :D

I never keep potential binge foods in the house (I rarely buy cereal or bread anymore lol), and when I do buy foods I crave, I buy really high quality small portions of it. So, when I go out and buy chocolate, I'll buy a really small bar of high quality chocolate from a sweets shop or buy a single fancy cookie from a local…
