I was recently diagnosed with ADHD and my doctor put me on a low dose of Vyvanse, and it has worked out wonderfully so far. The crash period where the medication wears off isn't nearly as bad as it is on Adderall. Another option to look into would be non-stimulant meds, like Strattera, which has fewer side-effects overall.…

Abs are great and all, but it's all about the face and build in general for me. Unless your guy runs around shirtless 24/7, you'll be spending a whole lot more time staring at his face than his 6 pack. One a completely different note.....@trojanbb you, sir have my vote! Close seconds would definitely be the cowboy +…

First off- I'd like to say that I don't think you are a terrible/unsupportive/Nazi spouse or any of that crap. You've worked your butt off -literally- to achieve your goals and I understand that you'd want your husband to jump on the bandwagon. Hotter sex? Heck yes. More confidence? Duh! Why would he resist putting in the…

A 33 pound loss is quite an achievement - Great job showing that scale who's boss ;-) If I found out that I lost 5+ points off my BMI, I think I would probably hug my doctor....or at least do a little happy dance! lol...Congrats to you, girl!

I feel the same way about posting my "before" pics, so huge props to you and congrats on your weight loss! It's easy to see the difference - All of your hard work is definitely paying off :-) Sometimes I get pretty darn discouraged with how slow my progress is at times, but taking photos along the way really helps to keep…

Awesome job Sherry! Stellar progress, especially so soon after 2 pregnancies :-) You GO girl! I hope you are rewarding yourself with each milestone accomplished...that's definitely helped me focus on accomplishing the small goals one pound at a time. Best of luck to ya

You both look like completely different people! And younger too :-) Great job, and thanks for sharing.

Why don't you get a couple small plastic baggies and fill them with a portion of almonds that you'll allow yourself to have each day? (i.e. 2 snack baggies with 150 cal portions measured out). Then you can grab one of those bags whenever you feel a craving, but limit yourself to a set number of bags so you don't go over.…

Races with diverse scenery...it helps to have something interesting to look at! And also, I've been to a couple races where they offered free post-race massages. I think the 10 min massage I got after completing my first half was the reason I could still move throughout the rest of the day ;-)

All I can find are headshots, so these will have to do for now. Like many other folks on this site, I was an expert at hiding from cameras at my highest weight! Before: Approx 200+ pounds at the end of senior year in college. With the stress of classes and work-overload I didn't have (or make) much time for physical…

I can totally level with you on this one...they can make it feel like you're not being a good friend if you don't also partake in the fried or fatty foods they like to indulge in. Ridiculous! What I've done in the past is eat before a dinner out, but still meet them at the restaurant just to hang and chat. If they care…
