I'm 5'6 and my goal weight is 130 pounds

THIS at the very least 1500 calories. TBH it is more like way over 2000 calories if you're a normal person.

BIG change keep pushing! Congrats! :D

I have a lot of hair. I haven't noticed any change...
-
(((Hugs))) I suggest just making an exercise and diet plan and sticking to it.

I don't think you look too thin at all. They just are used to you being fat. Don't go back to being fat just to appease others. They will adjust soon.

I don't think it is possible to change your body type...if you don't have long legs nothing will give you long lean legs. That model looks pretty tall, like over 5'8. IDK I could be wrong. It is certainly possible for you to lose weight but it may not make you look long and lean. Just a smaller version of your basic body…

I feel bad for you because you are obviously very stressed by this. But 8 stone at 5'6 is just a smidgen underweight, just barely. Your pictures do not suggest that you are so thin that sleeping is painful because you don't have enough body fat. On the contrary, you appear to have proportionally more fat than what I'd…

Hotness is relative. I think 40 is way too young to worry about not being 'hot' anymore. I'm 42 and I still look pretty good. I no longer stop traffic like I did in my 20s (   ) but my husband thinks I'm smokin' hot and I get hit on by creepers often. Being attractive to other people is a measure of…

You could take your pics showing your body down. I looked at them and honestly to me you don't appear skinny or skeletal, let alone too thin to have periods. You look like you have a healthy and normal amount of body fat (at least 18%) for that. I wonder if there is something else going on with you medically that might…

Oh yes all this will give you an awesome burn. My favorite Leslie walk is her 5 Mile Fat Burner DVD, that one really helped me lose a lot of weight! but any Leslie walk is good, really. I just want to also say, this is a nice and supportive group for folks at any stage of fitness :flowerforyou:

Thank you Deb and Zichab! I appreciate that, he is doing a lot better. It's a slow recovery because he's in his 80s, but he is doing much, much better. I do believe prayers, well wishes, vibes, etc. help! Goal for September: 75 miles To date: 9 miles Left: 61 miles

I'm 42 and so far the 40s are really good. You *do* have to work harder at fitness than when younger. But it is worth it! Good luck to you and feel free to add me!

Yep! I swear by Leslie, her walks are easy to follow, and they work!

Hey all! Sorry I haven't been around this month. My dad is very ill, he had a stroke at home at the beginning of the month but then while in the hospital being treated for that he had a heart attack. He is 88 years old, his birthday is next month and I would like for my dad to see 89. Any good thoughts, prayers, vibes, are…

They totally hated white people, that is the only explanation! LOL :drinker:
