I'm doing the same thing right now. I have been training for a marathon and trying to slowly lose a few pounds while doing it. I had been getting in better shape and my runs are getting longer. I had a period of eating great and feeling invincible. Then I started eating worse and got to the point that I'm feeling so…

It's not that I'm embarrased to "do" paleo in public. It' just more compicated. - and as Cr01502 says - you appear pretty picky. I get to the point that I just want to eat at home but then when you get to the restaurant and don't want much to eat you look like the girl who doesn't eat.

I have to agree that I do notice more attention from guys but I think it's because I walk around "taller" and I feel like I'm in a much better mood. I think you just send out much more welcoming vibes when you feel confident and healthy. I have noticed with this confidence I feel like I deserve a different type of guy.…

Kind of love this. It's like someone has seen too many football players "turn to fat" after they stopped playing the sport.

I've had people ask "Are you sure you're eating enough?" It's like, "Yep, pretty sure, I bought a nice new winter coat so I don't need to put on a layer of blubber this year."

I'm going to dance around the house laughing and then try on all my skinny clothes to see how good they look. Then I'll remind myself not to let all this hard work go down the drain.

I've done the same. Sometimes it's just worth eating the real stuff. All the low-carb or low-fat stuff has so many fake things in it that are not meant to enter the human body. Do love the PB2, but not for PB & J sandwiches. It adds great flavor to protein shakes.

Please add me. I've actually been on since June and have only one friend (she is very motivational though) and would love to have more. I'm on a slow and steady journey to a healthy weight and body.

I'm game. (Once I finish the alst Diet Dr. Pepper I have for lunch right now.) I've been meaning to get rid of artificial sweeteners, but pop is just so good!

You're awsome. You've made a lifestyle change for all the right reasons. I'm glad you can live a full life with your family.

I think you can totally do it. A good resource is halhigdon.com. He has a few different levels of training and explains the purpose of each run. He also encourages cross training and getting rest (even if the rest comes in the form of a walk brake during a long run). Even if you lightly base your training of of one of his,…

16 miles this past week for a total of 25 miles. Sorry it's a bit late.

You look so-o-o-o much younger!

I've finished 9 miles for the week. The weather has defeated me for the week :ohwell:

Put me down for 60. Thanks!

I'm aiming for 145. I was there a few years ago and loved it, of course that was a buff 145. We'll have to see if I gain back the muscles to give me a similar build.

I've had similar problems when the batteries ran low and when I had an old fashion scale - I think the springs wore out. Don't get too discouraged, just remember you're doing this for the way the clothes fit and the way you feel - not for the number on the scale. (Even though the # does seem the be the only evidence we…

Great job! I know the feeling of fake smiles. I do have to say that you have the cutest bellybutton now. Thanks for the motivation, it'll keep me working towards my own cute bellybutton.

You are awsome! I think I have been telling myself for a few years that if I start now I could wear my summer clothes (I too, have saved a lot of clothes from before I gained weight) or if I start now I could be an awsome marathon runner by fall since I won't have to tote all these extra pounds. Thanks for the inspiration,…
