I just bought and tasted "Walden Farms whipped Peanut butter spread" and "Waldon Farms Strawberry Fruit Spread". It has zero calories, I was so excited to get my PB & J back again. Took a big ol bite......gaagg, spit the bite back out, could not even finish it.
Don't buy it. It doesn't smell like peanut butter and doesn't smell like Jam. I felt like I was putting flubber on the bread for the jelly and like I was putting brown cool whip for the peanut butter. I can't tell you what that taste was or what it was like I only know it is not of this earth.

Why'd you stop eating PB&J in the first place, easy to fit that into your cals0 -
I saw that but I figured with zero calories it would stink pretty bad LOL. I do like PB2 though. Have you tried it? PB2 tastes just like fresh peanuts so I really like it. However, my hubby does not but when I took it to work to have the others try it they all agreed with me0

I heard their chocolate spread and pancake syrup were good. Have you tried those?0

I've done the same. Sometimes it's just worth eating the real stuff. All the low-carb or low-fat stuff has so many fake things in it that are not meant to enter the human body.
Do love the PB2, but not for PB & J sandwiches. It adds great flavor to protein shakes.0 -
"not of this earth"
Thanks for the heads-up.0 -
Just enjoy real peanut butter and jelly in amounts that will fit your macros.0

It's actually healthier to eat the real thing. These low calorie and no calorie options are BEYOND processed and altered, and our bodies don't know how to digest them.0

Anything that claims to be food with zero calories is bound to be terrible. Lesson learned...hopefully.0

I tried Walden Farms salad dressings years ago and thought they were horrible! Tasted just like I was drinking a bottle of chemicals, which seemed to be true. Ugh! Sorry you had the same experience.0
-
I think my first clue would have been the 0 calories on the label. What is it made from?0

I bought the pancake syrup. Tastes good for the first few seconds and then the aftertaste kicks in. Kinda like gargling liquid splenda.0

Agree. I try to eat as many whole and natural foods as possible. I like fresh ground nut butters with no additives and then just fresh or steamed fruit in place of jelly
You can get thin bread or use rice cakes or even crackers if you want0 -

Anything 0 calories usually should be avoided, except of course for good ol' fashioned water.0 -

If I remember correctly it's made of cellulose. And yes it is vile. My husband and his family did HCG for awhile and this was one of the "foods" that they were allowed.0
