I am a Vata/Pitta and have eaten for my dosha in the past. I can say that I felt the best I have ever felt when I ate that way but I gained too much weight from it. I need to go back and find the balance.

I had to give up the scale too. I was obsessing and then felt like giving up if it didnt budge. I do it every two weeks just to make sure I am on track and so far it has been much better mentally.
