Ok, thanks I'm glad I asked; didn't realise I should be recalculating my TDEE so frequently. :) I think I'll go find those links again and work it out, but I might wait a couple of weeks before updating; just curious to see if I'll still be burning at my current limit. If I'm still plodding along at a steady pace I'm happy!

Yes, according to my trusty scales, at one point I managed to drop 2 kilos (4lbs) in less than 2 days. Must be all that chocolate I've been eating; great fat burner. :laugh:

MUFFINS! I love them, but to find one large muffin can run you anywhere from 400-600 calories? That's massive, I'd rather spend my calories on a nice hearty dinner. If I want a muffin now they get chopped in half and I plan for them lol

If you know you're gonna be on a long phone call, chop up some carrot sticks or something lol. Or have a bowl of grapes handy in the fridge. They're fun to snack on, easy, and far less damaging to your daily limit than those 'why-do-they-have-to-have-a-whole-meal's-calories-in-just-one; I-love-them-but-goddamn' muffins.

Hey good on you, I'm doing 30DS too :) It's great. I list it as 'circuit training'; but be careful as the calorie-burn amount that MFP gives you can be overly generous. I use a heart rate monitor to get a more accurate idea.

Do you sip it slowly or drink it pretty fast (or big mouthfuls at a time)? I find drinking milky coffee drinks too fast/in big mouthfuls can make me feel pretty blech. On an empty stomach its double as likely lol

Thanks! It does help actually. I imagine that's how my neck might look, its kinda similar to what I have now (though yours has less chub lol.) But you look great; I guess having less overall fat in body and face makes the biggest difference.

Just popped in to wish you and your daughter the best of luck. All I can say is do your best to educate yourself and your daughter, (which you're clearly already doing!) and always be supportive, not critical. She will thank you for it one day; even if she doesn't say it in words!
