  • Awesome job! You can really see in your face the weight loss. I think I'll do the same. Thank you for the inspiration.
  • Thank you all for your insights. I think I will set the mini goals by weight, reaching them when I get to them. I got REALLY serious about my weight loss in mid-Decmeber and since then have lost almost 20 lbs. I've achieved my first goal of getting to the weight i was when I had my daughter. My next mini-goal is my…
  • Thank you all for the posts and information. I'll start packing my food for the day to include snacks between classes - our classes are 90 min long and I drink water all day - usually getting in 8-12 cups - so a snack between each class would be ideal. For tomorrow I'll have gogurt, apple, and a Luna bar then lunch. I'm…
  • Awesome, I start the Biggest Loser Challenge this week as well. My school district does it and its super motivating. Lets do it together!
  • Welcome, I'm a mom who needs to lose weigth as well. I'm the mother of a 14 year old boy and 2 year old girl. Due to a knee injury when I was pregnant with my daughter I never could lose my baby weight and gained some, thus when I started losing needed to lose 90-100 lbs. After struggling to lose the first 10 I discovered…

  • Again, thank you all for your input. I guess I should have been more specific. I take celexa for anxiety (for the past 5 years) and occassionally deal with depression issues. I do believe everyone's chemistry is different; maybe mine is just such that the meds prevent me from losing weight and cause me to gain. Not only…
  • Thank you all for your replies. Its just boggles my mind that 6 years ago I was able to easily lose 50 lbs on Weight Watchers with out exercise and now struggle to lose anything. No matter how much I exercise or calorie count my weight goes up and down, but remains about the same. I'm sure if I did not exercise I'd…
  • azlady7, Off my topic, but are you in Arizona?

  • Thanks for your reply. My next surgery will most likely be a knee replacement. Right now, due to my age, they will not do the replacement, thus the need for a realignment brace, diet, exercise, and physical therapy. Currently I'm not working and am on disability/FMLA in hopes to return to work in January after going…
