Hi all, feel free to add me as a friend. I'm 53 dx with diabetes almost a year ago. I was holding my own until all the covid lockdowns. My weight went up my sugars were out of control. Now I am down 40 lbs and my A1c is holding around 5.9. I exercise and eat healthy.

I was pre diabetic for several years, watched my diet, exercised.... maintained. Covid came a long.... lockdowns, gym closed..... eating whatever..... now I'm diabetic. I was a veggie for about 7 yrs. Not a very good one. I still ate fish and seafood occasionally. But no meat based sauces or soups. I went back to meat about 3 weeks ago. I went to a farm market, found some organic, ethically, cruelty free meat and made a roast. Oh.... I missed roast!!! And that's that. I eat meat a few…

I'm 43, soon to be 44. I am fighting the belly fat, finding it very hard to lose any weight even tho I'm usually very active. Dr thinks I may be beginning perimenopause. Please add me! I need some support!!

I started with 1200, and ate back lots of my exercise cals. But I was feeling sick, dizzy.... I upped my cals to a min of 1430, and eat most of my exercise cals and I'm losing weight. Feeling better too. I'm only 5' so I was worried about upping the cals, but it worked for me.

I use a similar program. I'm 43, not thin.... didn't watch my diet..... didn't lose alot of weight doing it, probably because I didn't watch my calories... But, I did learn to run, I have run 2 5k races. I still don't run them continuously, but that's because I stopped for winter! I'm not a cold, snowy runner! I've signed…
