Normally first thing in the morning before work or about an hour after dinner. Wasn't sure about moving it to later in the day but after doing it for a week or two it hasn't been bad at all.

If you are wanting to keep track of calories burned then you enter it as circuit training under cardio. The strength training log is only to keep track of what you did not how many calories you burned.

First thing every Friday morning is when I record it. May weigh occasionally other times during the week but Friday morning is when I would be at my lightest for the week.

I got a Samsung Galaxy S4 recently and it had an app called S Health that keeps track of how many steps and distance I have gone each day. It is not always perfect but it does a pretty good job so far. I dont know if it is available in the Play Store, might be just a Samsung app.
