Would love to join a group to help with motivation. I've started several times and almost completed but then something seems to come up and I'm back to square 1. I'm all for friending anyone that wants to compare notes daily on our progress.

Love Sabras, especially the roasted pine nut. I have it w/ Crunchmaster Crackers almost every day. Also very good on toasted pita bread.

Your change is amazing and inspiring!! I'm sure your success will continue to keep you motivated.

Congrats - you have the same great smile - but otherwise you look like a new person!!
-
Wow - you've done great - congratulations!!!
-
You look great. I can really see a difference in your face as well.

I'm 5' even and started at 165 about a year & a half ago. I was a size 6 when my son was born and then I steadily gained over the next 11 years. My goal was 115. I'm at 104 now and actually wanting to at least at 110. Probably need to update my pic as that is from last June, not sure what I was weighing then but I'm…

Fiber One Bars!

Wow - you are amazing!!

Netflix on my Kindle. I watched the entire Lost series and now I've moved on to Nip/Tuck. Actually makes me look forward to dreadmill time!

Fiber One Bars - can't say enough about their effectiveness. Hummus is also good.

While I don't actively pray for weight loss, I do thank God for my good health that enables me to exercise and have fun w/ my family. I walk quite a bit on my treadmill and it's not uncommon for me to use this time to pray/talk to God. It's some quiet time for me even though I'm working.

I recently discovered Fiber One bars and was really surprised at the effectiveness. The primary ingredient is chickory root.

I was you just about a year ago. I'm 5'0 even and was 165 lbs last June, which is when I started losing. I found MFP right around a year ago. You can definitely do this. It's taken months but I'm back to 106 and a size 6/4 and I'm really planning to stay this way. I'm on maintenance now but I still walk faithfully and I'm…

I like the vita-berry (spinach, blueberries, strawberries & banana). I'm not much of a veggie eater and would rarely just eat spinach so I think the Nutribullen def helps me get in m vegies & fruit. And it's very easy, quick to use.

Thanks for posting this thread. I needed this reminder as I've really had a hard time getting up the past few days but you guys are on the money when you say it feels better if you just get up and do it. If I sleep in, I feel like kicking myself in the butt all day for being lazy.

I've had people tell me the same although I'm now in the goal weight zone for my height (5' even). Usually the people who tell me this are overweight themselves so I just shrug it off. I'm not trying to lose, just be healthy and not gain it all back.

I'm 5'0 even. Down from 165 this time last year to 108 today. Just trying to maintain and hopefully start some weights. I'm fairly consistent in my tracking and I'm not vigilant about "eating clean". I just try to track and not get out of control. I also work fulltime, have one child. Although being 46, I think my…

I am so much better at being able to say no these days. I'm finally happy with what I see in the mirror and how I feel and that's much more important than a "treat". I don't totally deny myself but now I'll eat one or two cookies instead of six. Or I'll have 1 piece of Dove dark chocolate instead of a half a bag. I think…

I'm actually starting today also. Want to friend up to motivate each other?? Although I'm not in terrible shape, I've never been much of a runner. I would really like to complete a 5K at some point in the near future.

Have to respectfully disgree on the "easy to get to size 0 if you're short". It's not nor would I want to. I'm 5'0 and weighing in now at 109 (having lost 50 lbs since last summer). I'm in a petite 4/6 and wouldn't want to go lower. When I was once a size 0 in my early 20's, I was happy with it. However, now I look back on…

After losing 50 lbs and now being a size 6, I am wearing a two piece this summer for the first time in years! Don't care about being in my 40's. My husband thinks I look great and that's the only opinion I'm interested in!

You are one good lookin dude! Congrats on your hard work & dedication!
-
That's why I only weigh once a week, same time - same scale. Had a drs appt last week & was up 3 lbs but was back down before my next regular weigh in.

Skinnytaste.com and Plainchicken.com (altho plain chicken is not a low cal site) both have a lot of good recipes including crock pot recipes. I can make something in my crock pot that will usually last a couple of days.

OMG - what a great job you're doing!! Very inspiring!
-
You look amazing - great job and thanks for inspiring others!
-
What a great story - thanks so much for sharing!! You look awesome (although honestly you were very cute at all of your sizes, you just didn't see it). Great job and thanks for inspiring! I also believe you have to lose slowly and realistically. Personally, I know that I can't say I'll never eat another sweet or fast food,…

You are right - it can be done! I am 5' even and this time last year, I weighed 165. I'm now at 112, size 6P and couldn't be happier with my weight (altho I definitely have some firming up to do). But it is possible and I didn't starve myself - just ate more sensibly and gave up junk food/fast food.

Hershey's kisses - anywhere between 1 & 3 and I feel like I have my chocolate fix in. It's less than 100 calories
