Whenever I shop now & my sister or mom hands me something to try on, I think "that's too little" and then I feel great when it fits!

One of my favorite snacks. I like to eat it on toasted pita bread or Stacy's Naked Pita Chips or when I'm really watching the calories, I eat it on cucumber slices.

I bought a used treadmill off Craig's list - still works perfectly. My son can me in one room doing homework and I'm in the spare bedroom on the treadmill. I also try to fit in exercices I can do at home like jumping jacks, squats, crunches, etc. I have a gym membership but having the treadmill at home gives me a lot more…

Feel free to add me. My diary is open and I log honestly (not everyday is a good one, but I try). I started at 165 lbs (and I'm only 5') at the beginning of June 2012 and now I'm down to 116 lbs. My goal was 120. Now I'm just trying to maintain and get in better physical condition so I can keep up with my 11 year old!
-
I'm 5 even and had let myself get up to 165 by last June. My original goal was 125. I'm now down to 117. I don't want to go any lower than 110. Now I'm more concerned about getting toned than the pounds.

70 miles for February. Thanks.

Yep, I hear a lot of people say that's too low, but it works for me. Keep in mind that I'm only 5' even with a small frame. There are certainly days when I'm over but I'm usually fairly consistent. You can friend me if you want to see my diary - it's open and I really don't care what others say about it.
-
I'm 5 even and I started at 165 this past May. I am now 1lb away from my goal of 120. Now I just have to maintain. It took me 11 years to gain the weight and now I swear I'm never going back there!!

I've lost 40 lbs and my husband tells me constantly how good I look. But isn't funny how it's so hard for us to see ourselves differently? I see my self in pictures now and still think I need to lose weight. Think I'll always be the short, chubby girl on the inside.

75 miles for January - getting started today!

Altho I haven't personally been brave enough to get a tat, there is one on pinterest that I love. It's small cursive writing on the side of a woman's foot "thine light is the path under my feet" is what I think it says & it's from scripture. Needless to say, just be sure you use a clean sanitary location with new needles.…

There are some good recipies on Skinnytaste.com. I just made the Crock Pot Sante Fe Chicken last week and my entire family loved it. My husband & son don't seem to even realize that we're eating lower calories foods because the food is so tasty.

Can't say enough good things about SkinnyTaste. Just made the Filipino Chicken Legs last night and my whole family loved it.

Living in Jacksonville, I can definitely say he has an incredible fan base here. Not sure how he would perform but he would definitely drive up some ticket & merchandise sales!

I don't know about the content of the article, but I do know that I have been personally related to several alcoholics (including my father who was a wonderful man but was an alcoholic) and all died in their 40's. That's all I need to know to convince me of moderation.

You can definitely friend me. I've never been a runner - still not - but I'm on day 3 of week 3. So far, I've only had to run for as long as 3 minutes at a time. There is a 5k on January 19th that's a fundraiser for my son's elementary school and I would really like to be ready for that.

I have never tried PX90, Ripped or any other programs I've seen mentioned on MFP, however having reached my goal of 40 lbs lost, I'd now like to tone up the flab. I would love to join your group & would appreciate any info on how I can obtain the PX90 program on the cheap. Are you going to friend us to get our FB address?

Amazing story - thanks for sharing & inspiring others!

Would love to participate. I've been trying to get in at least 30 min per day so maybe this will help motivate me. So far: 12/1 30 min on treadmill 12/2 60 min on treadmill 12/3 30 min on treadmill 12/4 30 min on treadmill 12/5 30 min on treadmill

What an accomplishment. Although you were very pretty before you lost weight, you are now stunning! Way to go!

Actually I'm a little pissed off right now that I was trying to be good at lunch and had an Amy's Cheese Enchilada. All I noticed was the 240 calories - didn't realize until I went to log that it's PER ENCHILADA. Hate it when companies do that crap.
-
Skinnytaste.com has some great recipes. I've made quite a few things that were very flavorful and my whole family enjoyed.
-
Absolutely - would love to! This will be my second attempt. I made a good start in August but then totally blew it when I took a week off during vacation.

What a wonderful story - thank you for sharing & motivating!

I am 45 & 5' even and over the past 11 years I allowed myself to creep up to 165 lbs. When I first started trying to lose, I let go of the junk food and started walking and immediately lost some quick weight. Since then I've been diligently logging on MFP (even the bad stuff). I purchased a treadmill cheap off Craig's List…
