Ran 2.06 miles today! Overall, I ran further than my first run on Monday AND a little faster! Too bad I won't be able to run again for about four weeks. >.< Going on a hiatus.. not sure I'll make my goal - just found out Friday that I'm having back surgery tomorrow. =[

Speaking from a lifeguard's point of view, I hope you don't sink to the bottom cause I'd have to come in and getcha! =] How many lanes are there at the pool where you will swim? At the Y where I guard, we have a 5 lane lap pool - it doesn't get CRAZY busy, and we usually don't have problems with people sharing lanes..…

Today I STOLE miles from Mother Nature!! It was getting ready to storm and I decided to go out anyway - just until it started pouring or I felt it was getting too unsafe with lightning. I biked 9.52 miles! and probably could have kept going but the thunder was getting more consistent (didn't want to push it). =] YEA!

Rode my bike 11.68 miles today in the 84 degree heat! I was thankful when it started to sprinkle for the last 10 minutes. ^.^

After a week biking hiatus (just felt icky all week and the weather was AWFUL), I've returned with 9.83 miles in 49:47. My new biking shirt and shorts are lookin' pretty schnazzy!

That was difficult! I did 40 reps on each side with a 6lb dumbell behind the knee. I tried to use my abs -- what exists of them.

Walked 2 miles on the track after Zumba class! Hoping to get back on the bike tomorrow!

Rode my bike 11.18 miles today in 54.21 minutes! Hot. Muggy. Humid. When I got back, Kev said I looked like that scene in Airplane where the guy is trying to land the plane and BUCKETS of sweat start pouring down his face.. yep.

I rode my bike 10.75 miles today. It was HOT. and HUMID. but I figured out a way to beat the heat - soak a shirt to wear while riding to keep cool (until it dries!).
