I used to be that way, now I can't wait to eat breakfast :) I would run in the mornings and needed to eat, even just a little bit. I started off with bagels (since they were more like lunch) and than would run. Now I can eat pancakes, french toast, oatmeal, cereal etc. without feeling sick. Now I wake up hungry.

Welcome! Feel free to add me if you'd like! Anyone can add me :) I am 5'7" and have about 2-5 more pounds until I reach my goal weight. I have been stuck at 140 for a long time now.

If you can run 7 minute miles and keep it up, you can qualify for the Boston Marathon for your age group. 7 min/miles is pretty fast but very do able, even in your 30's. I will be 30 in May and I have gotten down from 12 min/miles to 8.50 min/miles. Just keep at it, you will get faster.

Brussels sprouts with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, little bit of brown sugar, salt and pepper, mix together and put in oven on 375 for 15 minutes then broil until nice a brown!!!! My 8 year old loves them this way also! I just wish my husband liked them as much as we do :) Also, roasted carrots, green beans, sugar snap…

Yes^^ I didn't do Couch2K, I started on my own. Go slow when you are first starting out. It'll take at least 30 days for your body to get used to it so stick with it. Feel free to add me if you'd like.

Did you just start? It sounds like you may be overdoing it. Try going about half the the speed that they are doing and SLOWLY build up. It takes about 30 days for your body to get used to doing an exercise. If it doesn't get better, you may want to talk to your doctor.

Hydration! As well as potassium and magnesium. Make sure that you are stretching well before hand. There are also medications that can cause muscle cramps, as well.

What a great NSV! Congrats! Keep it up and you'll be running 5K races in no time!

Love to run! Feel free to add me if you like! I usually run a mile in 8:50. My best 5K was 27:41 and my half marathon was 2:16:07. I have 2 and 3 planned for next year. I also love to run obstacle courses, Run For Your Lives, Devil Dash, etc. I have the Spartan Sprint on my to do list for 2013 :)

Use a stop watch and try to hold as long as you can. When I first started I would hold for 20 seconds, rest, hold for 20 seconds, rest and hold for 20 seconds. Go for 10 seconds and within a week or so you will be able to hold it for longer. You can do it! It just takes time :)

First of all, she is adorable!!!! Secondly, check with her doctor. Don't listen to the school, they rarely know what they are talking about (The "nurse" at my son's school tried to send him home last year because he had a "fever" of 99.1-that's not a fever). Just make sure she is eating healthy and running around outside,…

Great advice! I don't think that people understand that one day isn't going to ruin their weight loss plans. Thank you for posting this!

If the blister makes it painful to walk, pop it. Don't cut off the skin. This can open you up for an infection. Use a needle that has been sterilized (with rubbing alcohol or run it over a fire a couple of times) and pop it at the base of the blister and allow to drain. Clean the area with an antiseptic and allow it to get…

9 months is too young to take him running. He is still growing and it can and will ruin his growth plates and joints. The reason I know this is my husband is a veterinarian. If you want him to be healthy and not hurt him, wait until he is about 2 years old.

Good for you! That is awesome!
