First of all, welcome to MFP!!!! Secondly, it is not impossible. You just have to learn how to eat right and in moderation. It takes work and dedication to lose weight. You can do this! Remember, this is a lifestyle change, not a diet! Feel free to add me as a friend if you'd like. Best of luck to you!!!!! -Morgan

This and add in hills. Sprint up a hill (a good sized hill) and than jog down, repeat!
-
I started at 163 on my own and 153 with MFP. I initially wanted to be around 135, but I am at 141-143 and I am pretty happy right here! Now that I lost the weight I am working on toning.

We have a cane corso, a cattle dog, and a german shep/pit bull mix. The cane corso loves to go running with me. I have a soft spot for the pitties, bulldogs, and mastiffs.

I ordered some a few days ago and I am really excited to try it! I love all of the ideas that everyone has! I never thought of putting it in oatmeal.
-
I lost my first one in August. Just cut it back to where it is still connected. It'll feel weird for a day or two and than you won't even notice it.

It sounds like she is jealous. Have you called her out and asked her why? You are stunning-I'm a MFP creeper and looked at your photos. Don't let her bring you down. Keep doing what you are doing because you are looking amazing!

Panties. I HATE the word panties. It sounds so dirty.

Heat at night and AC during the day. However, it has been in the low 70's during the day so we haven't been needing the AC the last few days. I'm in Colorado.

Totally 100% the black one! You are one HOT lady :)

I run with my dog. There are some creepy people on the trails and I feel much more comfortable with my beast :) No one really bugs us because he is sooooo big. If you do run alone, make sure that you tell people where you are going, carry your cell with you, and you may want to carry pepper spray as well.

My husband was my dog's vet! I was 18 when I first met him and he was 32. We didn't get together until I was 24 though. We have been together for almost 5 years and have a 7 year old (he was from another relationship but my husband treats him as if he was his own son and my son considers my husband his dad).

First of all, 7 lbs is great! Keep at it. When I first started running I signed up for races. I would look at ones that interested me, like the zombie Run For Your Lives and Devil Dash. Find something that excites you and will keep you motivated. Make goals for yourself and than reward yourself. When you loose 20lbs buy a…

Running hills also works. Sprint up the hill and than recover when you run back down. Try to find a long hill that you can run up.

Congrats! What a great NSV!! Pretty soon you will be able to sit in those jeans and look really hot! My doctor's scale is a liar also :) I weighed myself at home the morning of my appointment and it said that I was 143-my Dr's scale said I was 147. I told her that it was a liar and she agreed with me :)

Bump this! These look wonderful! Can't wait to try them :) Thanks for sharing!

Is it truly a rash or is it from chafing? I know when I run for a long time I will sometimes chafe. If it is a fungal infection you can actually use Monistat (yes, that Monistat for yeast infections). If it is chafing use glide.

I do this because I am training for a race in May called Spartan Race. It helps my body to get in the mode of run and than you have an obstacle. Sometimes I will run for 800m (as fast as I can), calisthenics (burpees, push ups, pull ups, jump lunges etc) and than 400m. I usually do 4 rounds of this. I have also noticed…

I tell my husband what I weigh. I was embarrassed before I decided to loose weight. I now tell him every time I weigh myself :)
-
Start trail running! Work on upper body as well. You can do it!!! Run for a mile or two and than do calisthenics (burpees, push ups, pull ups, lunges, squats, etc).
-
First, make sure that you have to right running shoes. Before your race do what you normally do! If you normally warm up with stretching and jumping jacks, do that. This is what your body is used to, Don't change anything the day of the race.

How about swimming? Check with your doctor and make sure that it is OK first. Swimming is a great low impact sport.

Hi Nancy, Welcome to MFP! I joined because I need to lower my cholesterol and loose 20 lbs also! Feel free to add me as a friend! Best of luck!

Why would you want to put those chemicals into your body? Why not drink water or even club soda with a little bit of juice in it?
-
I've never done the Warrior Dash but I did Run For Your Lives with my mom and the Devil Dash with my brother. Looking at the course, Devil Dash is a lot like Warrior. You will be amazed at how many people will help you with the obstacles. The ones where you climb over the wall or down the wall with a rope: Make sure that…

What an incredible transformation! You look fantastic! I sent a friend request!!

I used to sweat a TON! Now it's usually a thin trickle down my back and sometimes down my face. I also glisten on my chest :) I've never really glistened before.
-
Very cute! I think that it makes your look skinnier and you look younger!
-
You could be my twin!!! I started at 163 (not on MFP) I was 153 when I started MFP. I am down to 143. My goal weight is 135. I am also 5'8"
