  • I've tried a buttload of protein powders. My Fellow MFP'ers that recommend Optimum nutrition Double Choclate are right on the money. This stuff has the least calories, and most protein per scoop.....and...it tastes the best..almost...almost...like not even a protein powder. I just had a two scoop shake. A big *kitten* tub…
  • The Hodgetwins??? All they give is advice...that's all it is...now go out there and DO WHATEVER THE !%$@ YOU WANNA DO.
  • Just dump him and move on.
  • Almost every breakfast i eat maple and brown sugar oatmeal with strawberries and bananas chopped up in it, with a couple turkey sausage patties. Why? I still like the taste, it fills me up for a while, and I can pretty much make it on autopilot without thinking too much.
  • I've been sleeping better since i workout so often...I haven't had any snoring complaints in a long time, which has to mean that my snoring must have gone down considerably.
  • I'm not sure, but i'm about to find out. I'm not quite at my goal weight, but about 5 lbs away, which is close enough for me to shift gears and get into weights more than cardio...Im taking two scoops of protein per day, and eating tons of steak and chicken.
  • 1-Open the cans / bottles over the sink 2- Dump the garbage in the sink 3-Turn on the faucet to mask the offensive stink 4-Put the bottles/cans in the blue recycle bin 5-Pat yourself on the back for a job well done. PLAN B Find a wino, give them to him.
  • I bought a Craigslist Univega Via Montega Last year, and liked biking so much I bought a 2013 Fuji Absolute 1.4...but I've never been able to upload pics. These damn things are addictive like crack...I'm thinking I need a road bike now.
  • I just bought a tub of cookies and cream from Walmart. I tried to mix it different ways, the only palatable way for me was a shake...it's palatable. Optimum Nutrion Double Choclate got the highest review on Amazon, so I bought a big *kitten* tub for $54... It's good...a shake of this stuff tastes almost just like a treat,…
  • If you do it for someone else you are pretty much guaranteed to fail. And why do you stay with him, if his behavior isn't what you would like? Either it's not a problem, and stop worrying about it, or dump him and move on.
  • I have been eating the same breakfast for about a year now...why? because it's still good to me, and its relatively healthy..so why not?
  • How good is it? Look at my ticker. I do a lot of elliptical, and i used to walk..but that is really, really boring, and the calories burned are nothing compared to what you can burn on a bike, even at a moderate pace.
  • I ride only on dedicated bike paths: no cars, just the occaisionaly mindless walker, horse rider, or big ungainly group of aggressive riders trying to pass. I pretty much think of everything. I keep thinking about the girl I should have married 13 years ago, but didn't because I wasn't that bright. I wonder how my life…
  • Listen...you are going to have to have tons of will power, and patience. I'm pretty close to my goal weight, but I've "only" lost about 60 pounds. It has only been possible by completely changing my life. Now that I have seen the changes, there is no way I ever want to go back.
  • Looking at my baby pecs, my manly arms, my disappearing stomach and my budding abs in the mirror.
  • LOS ANGELES...and guess what...I live here:love:
  • I am not sure if it has to do with being a man, or with being a formerly fat man...but i still tend to buy looser fitting clothes. I have bought clothes that fit...but they feel "tight" on me, and everyone agrees they look good on me, but i still feel weird in form fitting clothes.
  • i drink Topo Chico mineral water available in Los Angeles area Walmarts...maybe in stores with a latin food section. I drink it on the rocks with some lemon or lime...hell...Im about to refill my glass as I am typing.
  • I live in Los Angeles, There are lots of Latin chicken joints..the biggest chain of which is El Pollo Loco. These are GREAT places to eat...as long as you stick to grilled chicken, and dont get french fries or other bad sides, you can eat delicious fast food. I love  living in SoCal where there are so many great…
  • DOOD...I'm at 95 miles so far this month....HOLLA ATCHA BOIEE:love:
  • Im thinking of getting an 810. i have a POS pyle sports GPS that has horrible sport tracks software that i can't get to work.
  • Yeah man, I think you should talk to a psychologist...perhaps you are afraid you will work really hard, and not reach your goals, so you sabbotage your plan on purpose so you have a reason why you failed? I don't know man. I try to eat clean the entire week...today I reached a new personal low, and I celebrated by not…
  • For a while the fat was coming off my *kitten* and thighs, but not my calves, it looked bizarre...eventually they got the message and slimmed down, too.
  • Counting your food intake does take some time, and you'll probably have to buy a $20 food scale from walmart or amazon, and some measuring spoons and cups. It probably takes about 2/3/4 minutes out of my day, but I'm worth it. The calorie counter on MFP is excellent. Look at the before and after pics in my profile...The…
  • CSCJ beat me to the punch...
  • Waste of money. At minimum...if you feel you need one...look at their physique/shape/ accomplishments...Is what they look like, what you want to look like? If they have a list of clients, and you can look at any of them, and where they started from, and how long they have been training, that would be a benefit too.
  • I tried using the barbell for chest press, but it hurt my elbows. The up and down motion constrains your arms in a way that isn't natural for the movment of the arms. I exclusively use the dumb bells. The dumbells work stabilizer muscles that give you better, more usable muscles...BUT...the big massive chest that I want…
  • You have the right mind set. Congratulations on being strong and taking control of your life. In September of 2011 I didn't last 5 minutes on the elliptical on the lowest setting. Yesterday I went on a 40 mile bike ride. You are destined for success!
  • I have some $15 "golds gym" lifting gloves from walmart that have really kept the callouses at bay when I lift freeweights....Im not a metrosexual or anything, but the callouses on my hands were getting out of hand.
