I haven't logged in every day since I joined, but I have logged in regularly. For a lot of people the realization that you can't eat McDondalds whenever you feel like it is a deal breaker.

At my biggest, i couldn't find 44 inch waist pants, with a short enough leg to fit me. As of today, I fit size 34 pants very comfortably, and i can find the length I need on the shelf. I'm 5' 11". I feel weird buying such small pants...I was used to buying big baggy pants to hide my big *kitten*...

Take an assessment after a month, see what sort of progress you've made, and then you can determine if it works for you or not.

I think you could do it, but whether you could maintain the weight loss, might be a different story. i have strived for one lb a week, and it seems to be very doable, without seeming like punishment.
