Wow you look FANTASTIC! I just love when people post their weight loss pics and they look so much younger with the weight off. It gives me hope that I will look younger also when I hit my goal weight....hoping to hit it before my 40th this March. :ohwell:

The Plus Side: I had the Merina placed 5 months ago for the same reasons. I couldn't leave the house because my flow was so heavy and I seriously thought some times I might bleed to death. I have to say the Merina has totally controlled my flow and now I can leave the house without worry of anything dripping down my legs…

I use a HRM with a chest strap and I burn 800 - 900 calories for a 60 min Zumba class sometimes more when I feel extra energetic....adding that I have 50 pounds to lose if that helps you.

1500 calories a day for a man seems low to me. Eating too little can help you gain weight instead of lose it. I get it every so often but I have a Mitro Valve Prolapse (that's when a valve in your heart lets the blood flow the wrong way). I would see you doctor just to get it checked out.

LOVE LOVE LOVE your progress pics. Like you I would hide from that camera and one day my husband took a photo of me with my little on and I almost died when I saw the photo! Exercise is a strange thing. Sometimes you just don't feel like doing it but you drag yourself to the gym and once you get started you feel awesome and don't want to stop. Crazy right? :laugh:

If you're looking pretty at the gym you're not working out hard enough. I always get a chuckle out of the girls who do their make up to go to the gym. You are pretty anyway so forget the makeup while working out. Plus most guys at the gym like the girls who are more focused on their workout then how they look. :wink:

Sorry no food suggestions here but I can say when I dropped 15 pounds (went from 206 to 191) all my reflux issues went away. Don't you just love it when you doctor tells you, you should be doing XYZ but doesn't tell you what you should be doing to get there.:grumble:

I see you said you all ready have a HRM. Why don't you wear it all day and at the end of the day record how many calories you burnt and the next day just set that as a number to beat. Few ideas that you could try: * call Polar customer service. * You can also google 'how to update my weight on my polar ft4 HRM" that is how I figured out how to use my polar HRM.The little manual they give you isn't any help at all. * have you looked into the Polar web site? I think they have a common questions asked page…

I will eat it all on Thanks giving...but I will bust my butt the day before and for a couple of days after! I can't wait for Monday to roll around. I will be picking up my turkey this saturday. yum =) I should add that I cook the dinner so I have control over what is served. :wink:
