  • I would only be worried about Sugar if they are added sugars. If the majority of it is coming from fruit, then you are fine and shouldn't worry. If your sugar is largely the added variety (processed foods can have a lot added) then I would suggest scaling back.
  • I think it all comes down to convience for people. - Screw buying Almond Milk or Cow's milk. I make my own almond milk using raw almonds, usually comes out cheaper. - I see a lot of people bringing up meats as expensive, and indeed they are. That's why I have found many different recipes using beans, lentils as the main…
  • Cleanses are awful. You can eat a well balanced diet everyday and your body will cleanse itself. Foods high in fibre, antioxidant rich fruits and vegtables, as well as making sure you get plenty of water. You will feel just fine.
  • Almond Milk bought in stores still contains many preservatives. It's best if you make your own, and it's really easy! 1: Start with 1 Cup of Raw Almonds. 2: Soak them overnight (5-8 hours) 3: Drain 4: Blend Almonds with 4 cups of water for 2 minutes. 5: Add a natural sweetener (Honey, Stevia etc.) 6: Pour into milk nut bag…
  • Pro team: Detroit Lions! College: UofM Wolverines! My easy snack is some multi-grain chips along with some homemade salsa, it's actually reasonably healthy.

  • Good Source of Omega-3's Good Source of Fibre Good Source of Calcium Antioxidant Power And they are something easily put into things like smoothies. Or thrown on top of oatmeal, salads or yogurt. Very good for you, a true Superfood!
  • I googled as you said to do, I have found just as many websites debunking this as I have supporting the claim. As stated above, most research has been done on INSTANT Teas, the loose leaf tea would contain less. Also, there is likely more flouride in your drinking water as there is in tea, that you should be worried about.
  • http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/Programs/agressive_program.htm I was exactaly the same way at the beginning, I could barely jog for 2mins before being gassed. This program has helped ALOT, it starts off with a lot of walking. It also allows to later to spread out your running/walking ratio's to your liking as long as you…
  • Well I grew up in Southwestern Ontario, bout an hour from Detroit. So I am a die hard Lions fan! Suffered through so many god awful seasons (including that WINLESS one) but now with Rocket Armed Stafford and CJ81 I am beyond pumped for this season. I also follow quite closely the Michigan Wolverines. Pretty jacked for the…
  • I used to eat flax seeds everyday until I read about Chia seeds. Chia is more expensive but it also brings much more to the table nutrition wise. - More Omega-3's - More fibre - A good source of calcium - They do not need to be ground up in order to absorb nutrients This is the new superfood that has become a staple in my…
