Hi there. I had my weight-in this morning and what I saw made me sad I'll admit. Apparently I gained 1 kg since last monday. The same time I lost 0.5 cm in waist, .05 cm in hips and 0.5 in neck. The measurement change keeps me sane now but I wonder if it is even possible to gain 1 kg a week or did I weight myself wrong last week (I don't have a digital scale but teh traditional one) ?

that could be caused by different factors.. that could be just water weight.. the important thing is you lost some from the measurements..0 -
It could very well mean that you are shedding fat and building muscle. As muscle weighs more then fat this is a very real possibility. All depending on the type of exercises you are doing.0

Maybe over the next few days try weighing yourself to see if it goes down? Might be due to too much sodium?
I'm not sure but I have also noticed this happen to me, it usually goes right back down within a day or 2.
You may be gaining muscle and losing inches. From what I've been told muscle weighs more than fat.0 -
You've possibly lost fat but gained muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat. At the end of the day it's all about how you feel and how your clothes fit. My weight fluctuates all the time when exercising regularly.0

Monday is my weigh in day and it was the same for me, weight gain, after staying the same last week. I did check my measurements and they are slowly going down.My exercises have been mainly concentrated on swimming but have upped them a little over the last week. So it is changing my shape.
I think we just have to remeber that this is what happens, our body will sort itself in its own time not just week to week because thats what we want it to do. Slowly, slowly.........0
