Awesome thread! Im also a shorty! Im 5'2" and wanting to lose 15.5 or 7 kgs or a bit more. Before my wedding in March I was losing a kg a week but now im finding it really hard!! Seriously thinking I might go back to see my personal trainer!

From someone who has been there with the low self esteem (and at times I still do) and money issues. I second this. He will regret it one day. I was in a similiar situation when I was 20/21 and after being together for 5 years we broke up (mutual) as we had grown apart. I had become very co-dependant and had very low self esteem. A couple of years later we caught up and he was very appologetic about the way he treated me.…

For me having a weekly plan helped for exercise also when you start seeing results you don't really want to ruin it by eating alot of junk. I also have a smaller plate which helps, you could also try having 5 smaller meals a day with healthy snacks ie carrot sticks, yoghurt etc. Other things like cutting back on portion…

Its definately harder to get motivated to exercise in winter. Im in New Zealand so we're nearly in Summer and its great!! So much nicer to get out to the gym! :)

I see a personal trainer and I work out 6 days a week with 1 day off. This is very important for your body to recuperate and have a rest. Maybe check with a personal instructor and see what they think :)
