Count me in. Been walking two days now and loving it. Aiming to walk 5 days a week.

Wow that's awesome. I'm thinking of doing the same thing. Using it as a diary but ignoring calorie intake.

I'm 5'3" .... Highest weight 217, Current weight 191, Current Goal weight 148. I'd like to get down to 125 eventually though. My greatest challenge right now is keeping at it, continuously finding the motivation to stay on track and focused.

I'm still new to all this eating back calories and all but so far I've been losing 1lb a week and one time 2lbs. I also do cheat days (weekends) which is one reason why I never weigh myself on the Monday. I would gain 3 to 5 lbs of water weight and it would take a day or two to go back to the weight I was the past week and…

Oh wow congratulations on weightloss so far. You look absolutely amazing. The fact that you lost all those weight while on mfp is so really motivating. Such an inspiration. I was feeling really low this week and coming across your post has really given me another push to keep moving forward. Thankyou again for posting this.

You have a lot of good advice given here. It's great that you're concerned but I'd just like to add... I just think that maybe it would also be good if you don't compare your wife to other women. When you do that you'll never be satisfied with how she looks. She may lose weight and look fit but if you keep comparing her to…

The first time my husband commented on my weight I was really upset. He tried to tell me that in the nicest way possible and I still got upset. Maybe because he was true and I was in denial. I mean I know I've gained weight and I definitely don't like it but he didn't have to say it. Although what he said hurts it made me…

Click on the FOOD tab -> settings --> goals --> change goals --> select custom ---> continue .. then select the percentage you want for fat/carb/protein. As for what rate to set it at? Well, so far for me the percentage of carbs/fat/protein that MFP has set seems to be working fine.

wow what a transformation.... this is so inspiring! I'll be 31 next year and my goal is to get down to 140 before I turn 31. I'm currently 191lbs. Reading through your story and seeing your achievement makes me realize that yes 'I can do this'. Thanks for posting!

Our body is a mystery, i mean you eat so healthy with lots of vegetables plus exercise (with insanity phew) and still gained. Then you started eating chicken and bam you lost 4lbs in 3 days. Just when we thought we know everything there is to know about how the human body works and something like this happens. People lose…

I'm on Month 2 week 3 of insanity and well so far so good but for me month 2 was really insane. Next week will be last week and I have to say, this workout is hard but I love it. I'm planning to do another round of insanity. Started out at 202lbs and today I'm at 192lbs and lost inches as well. There were a few things that…

I agree, what an awesome NSV. I have for a long time become so dependent on the scale that I fail to see the little things that I able to do. If I don't see it on the scale I give up but having joined MFP I realize that little things like these keeps us motivated.

Thanks everyone for replying. I really appreciate it. Yes looking through my food diary I can see I'm not eating much at all. I guess I was so worried about gaining any weight that I wasn't really listening to my body. So yes, next week I'll try and up my calories to 1600 and see if that'll help plus getting some extra…
