Oh man, the best thing about tilapia is that it takes on the flavor of what you cook or serve along with it, and is also fantastic just grilled. It is a "softer" filet, which means it will break down more easily than say a tuna or halibut (which is flaky, but holds up better), which lends itself to quick grilling, One of…

Aboslutely. I am still a big boy, but down a lot of weight from where I began. My boss even mentioned, without crossing the line to go to HR, that he has supported my weight loss as a career tool (it is true, and unwritten, that more actively fit people make and are more productive and viewed as "better" employees).

But Darla, in all seriousness, me too. i love cheese and really was a cheese snob and it really is one of my trigger foods. I really do have to just not eat any, otehrwise, I will eat too much.

I hear you amiga. Cheese for me is a trigger food. See, there are wine snobs - i was a cheese snob. and an addict. I would start out my morning with a little cheddar, you know, just to get the day started. I knew I could quit whenever I wanted I mean, I was only using the cheddar to get the day going. Lunch would have me…

hahahaa, this thread made my day. honestly, i never thought of this site as anything other than a social media weightloss and motivation forum. I think the human body is beautiful and should be shown off, both male and female, but I think there needs to be some form of etiquette. Etiquette, however, is a two way street.…

One hour of cardio is more than enough. Definately. In fact, you mention you are obese, it may be too much. you may be sending your body into a "shock" response. Remember, our bodies get very comfortable from the lifestyle choices we make and will fight back with all means. Before kicking it up a notch to 2 hours, look at…

Keep in mind that we always see ourselves more critically than anyone else. I run into the same issue, however, i have actually decreed on FB that there are no pix of me until I lose more weight. I hate my pic. that being said, I have lost over 70 pounds and people think I am looking better than I have in a long time. i am…

Hello all! Henderson NV represented here. Lived in NV for 4 years now, previously from Salt Lake City, UT; love EVERYTHING about this place except, and here I go, the hair dryer effect in the summer. If you've never stood in the wind in 110 degrees, you have no idea what I mean. Excited and happy to be on this team. Let's…

Everyone has been so kind with the suggestions. I think for me, the road to yoga and the reasons are really about the mind / body connection and learning to challenge myself. As a shy person, there is benefit from doing some yoga practice at home. But, I also need to directly challenge my prconceptions and one way is to go…

I really apprecaite all of your resposnes, there is an underlaying theme of just do it, am I right? LOL. I guess my biggest concern was from a self-conscious area, but if I want to experience the benefit of yoga, I have to practice yoga and not be worried about the others in class. Thanks all again!
