  • The theory behind that makes perfect sense. Exercise when you have the most energy to get the most of our your workout! :)
  • I'm definitely no expert, but I doubt there's a "perfect time" to get your exercise. I also try to get to the gym in the morning after my oldest goes to school. However, my son has been sick for the past week, so I've had to wait until the hubby is home, homework is finished, dinner is cooked & all of that fun stuff is…
  • Is your husband overweight? Definitely sounds like he insecure and this is more his issue than yours. I can't imagine my husband even attempting to sabotage my new way of life. He's very supportive. Although he tells me he loves me just the way I am... I want to be healthy. Plus, I know we'd both like to see me back to…
  • You shouldn't be counting anything other than water as your water intake. Pure water is essential and will ultimately help control eating habits and flush your kidneys appropriately. Otherwise it would just be "liquid intake" and not "Water intake". Make sense?
  • It seems like the easiest thing for you to do would be to drink more water. If you do this, you will feel full. But, it is something you should do throughout the day. Don't just drink water when you feel as though you are getting hungry. Another thing that has helped me is taking Green Tea capsules. They are wonderful for…
  • I'm about to endure a robust workout. Thanks Jillian Michaels and your Boost Your Metabolism dvd that's OnDemand! Haha
  • I'm the exact same way.. I haven't touched an actual egg, white bread or even 1% milk in weeks! My brother used to eat greek yogurt all of the time (he'd mix peanut butter in it for extra protein) but I still have yet to try as a replacement.
  • They claim that it's supposed to help you lose weight, but from everything I've read that's only because it "cleanses" like any other fruit and it helps suppress your appetite. It's definitely very high in vitamins and tastes great!! Just watch the calories, there are 125 calories per 8 oz. I've only been drinking 4oz at a…
  • It's dead on. This scale switches between ounces and grams so it's much easier just to weigh things.
  • My brother is a health fanatic.. He eats greek yogurt all the time. He stirs in peanut butter for more flavor and protein (b.c greek yogurt is already very high in protein)
  • You could use Kraft Free Mayo, it's just as good and only has 10 calories in a tablespoon as opposed to 100 calories of the regular.
  • Thank you SO much. I think I'll head to Bed Bath & Beyond later on today!! Thanks again! :o)
  • That sounds great!
  • Your weight is going to fluctuate anyway. Try to only weigh yourself once a week and at approximately the same time every week. It's best to do it first thing in the morning as well. The previous person is right as well, muscle weighs more. So although you may not see it on the scale on a day to day basis, you will have…
  • I pay $29.99/month for my Golds Gym Membership and they offer Zumba there for free (with your membership) Along with a bunch of other classes. If you have a Gold's nearby it may be cheaper for you to get a membership. lol Not to mention the instructor has a RIDICULOUS body with a booty for miles. It's almost hard to…
  • I'm not sure. It says 0g of sugar. I'm going to take a look at the ingredient list I suppose. LoL
  • I have "waiting clothes" to. However, I think that once I get to the point where I can fit back into them I will celebrate by going shopping. I hate shopping for clothes, but that will probably change once I drop a few sizes. LoL Good luck!
  • I really like it and it only has 100 calories. I just thought the name itself was kind of ironic. I have a canister of regular, instant regular along with 2 or 3 other sugar free flavors. lol
  • Holy crap, that sounds heaven sent! lol
  • I'm always pretty anxious to weigh in daily, so I do it every morning around 6AM (after I pee of course) Plus, I'm just starting back on birth control after years of being off (which I'll be started next week sometime) I'll only have 4 periods year... Do you know if you still retain a lot of water during that time even if…
  • Great job!! That's willpower at it's greatest! haha
  • I'm in the eastern panhandle, over closer to DC. So, quite a ways!
  • That's probably very true... However, I love the gym atmosphere. Plus, I'm a stay at home mom (1 girl that is 7 years old and an 8 month old son) so it's really nice to have something to do outside of the house where there are actually other adults!!! Haha.
  • I was going to say, if you can, go ahead and get both. It will offer a variety.
  • Oh how I love Smuckers strawberry jam && they're high fructose corn syrup! lol PB & J's are my favorite food ever! haha Now, I just have them as a "dessert" every once in a while.
  • I've never tried Turbo Jam either, but I take Zumba classes at Golds. I love them!
  • I LOVE anything Special K! It's all great!!
  • I bought it. I like it except I find it impossible to hold the controller while doing Crunches and the Obliques. Everything else is great. I'm not sure if you have Comcast or not, but her 30 Day Shred is "On Demand". I just found that today!! I'm so excited.
  • NB Lady, For this I use the one that says Dancing (Aerobic). I believe that's a pretty good description of Zumba. So that's what I use.
  • Ducky, It's not really a dance class. It's more of Aerobic/Latin Dance. I'd say 98% of the people there didn't have rhythm, but it's all about having fun and moving! It's an hour long and it's a great workout!! Look it up on YouTube. That's what I did before I went.
