So happy to hear that you feel great! I’m just a few days into my current healthy habits attempt, but I already feel better emotionally and physically. So, I think what your story tells me (as well as my own) - is that it’s not the end goal that is important, it’s more ensuring that the journey is enjoyable and…

Welcome back! My story is very similar to yours..except my kids are now 9 and 11, lol. I was very active before having kids (running, playing volleyball, etc)...and I kind of just stopped after giving birth...going from 140/150 (at 5'4') to just over 200. I'm now getting my weight under control in a slow, but very…

Wow! You look amazing - healthy and happy - way to go:)

I am so sorry for your loss - sending you a virtual hug <3

That's great that you're so close! I went to the doctor the other day and found out that I was an inch shorter than I thought I was too...so I lowered my end goal and my calories:P
-
Sleep as much as you can...cause once you have kids you will never sleep again:( And..a chocolate bar won't kill you..the binge that followed because you decided to start again tomorrow might though...

MFP is great and you look amazing!

I drink a lot of herbal tea...I have a ten month old who doesn't sleep through the night and it's tough! The first seven months I ate a lot of calorie dense foods, but I've managed to control my appetite these past few months by drinking teas and more water...

Update - I won! I think the prize is 800$....planning on donating a portion to a charity I'm involved in and getting a mani/pedi for my birthday next week:)

You look incredible - you can really see it in your pictures! Keep up the good work:)

Way to go!

Way to go! That's great:)

I've kept mine so far:) I've lost just over 21 pounds since Jan 6th (started in a local biggest loser contest)...and am feeling great! Biggest difference this time is sticking to CICO and not restricting any foods...
-
Strengths: Love to experiment with new vegetables and really enjoy cooking. Also love exercising and challenging myself. Weakness: In every previous attempt to lose weight I banned certain foods (i.e. didn't beleive CICO). I changed that this time and am losing weight at a good pace while not feeling deprived - hopefully…

I prelog all my meals the day before - but save 500 cals for snacks that I only log right before eating them..

I definitely lose in the face first! People started commenting on my weight loss two weeks in...which is motivating. I only wish I'd lose in the waist area faster - after a 13 pound loss I notice no difference in the way my jeans fit:(

All bran cereal with skim milk, an apple and a cup of tea with milk. My standard breakfast every day..I find it fills me up the most. Sometimes I switch up the cereal..
-
I make kale chips (kale, olive oil and sea salt)...or edamame..my almost 3 year old loves both! To satisfy a sweet craving...piña colada tetley tea or greek yogurt with half a banana and roasted coconut flakes...delicious!

I'm in! I'll start Feb 1st:)
-
Add me! I'm also 34, a sweetaholic, with a goal weight of 140...have another 45 pounds to lose..
-
Uptown Funk...looovveee that song!
-
I make sure I don't eat treats when I'm hungry..otherwise I'll eat too much. I'll either eat them after a meal or pair them with a fruit salad...
-
My goal is 26 pounds by March 18th (aim to get out of the obese category by that date) - which is my birthday...add me!
-
I agree with the previous poster! Also - enjoy the next few weeks - I miss the days where I could sit in a coffee shop and read a book for hours, go out with friends for dinner at a moments notice or take two back to back classes at the gym....But then again, I wouldn't trade my two little munchkins to have those days…

I feel the same way:( Had my second six months ago and between her frequent nightly wake ups and my son getting up at 5am..I feel wiped. It's 1am and I just spent the last 45 mins getting her to sleep for the third time:P Hopefully someone can inspire us!

Really enjoyed the read!

I lived in Norway for a year and they had a delicious marzipanakake (marzipan cake)...there was also a restaurant on the corner of my street there that had one of the best pastas I've ever tasted - (it had a spicy curried sauce). I agree with the other poster from Montreal - we have great food here. I do however miss the…

I'm in! The scale stresses me out...I need to focus more on the way I feel rather than the numbers...

I actually made this tonight! I used frozen bananas and a bit of peanut butter. My two year old liked it more than real chocolate ice cream..can't wait to try different add-ins:)
