Didn't you know....MFP is the new Facebook! Welcome to the club, I'm addicted to!

Way more attention from the opposite sex, I've had more guys ask me out on dates in the past 3 months than in the past 8 years! Not sure i'll ever get used to it, and still find it a little awkward but it is very flattering, and I'm enjoying it as it's not something I've experienced in so long. Besides I'm single so I'm…

Unfortunately you're going to have to get used to it...I've lost over 70lbs and am constantly cold.
-
Being cold all the time! Also new clothes every 2 months....
-
You started the same day as me! I can see a huge difference, you have done tremendously, keep up the great work girl!
-
When I first started I lost 7lbs in the first week, followed by 6lbs in the next.
-
Get told all the time to stop losing weight or I will "fade away into nothing"....seriously? I'm still 30lbs overweight!
-
I don't really have an aim to burn so many calories, I just work out 6 days a week and work as hard as I can at whatever workout I'm doing. However on average I burn around 3000 calories a week, I also use a HRM. If you go to Reports and then click Fitness, you can look back at you calorie burn for up to 3 months.

Started working out in cotton t-shirt and crop sweatpants, wore those till about 2 months ago, then I got the courage to try on some actual workout gear and I now wear Adidas Response Three Quarter Tights with a Nike Dry-Fit top. I have never been so comfy! If I'm at home just sweatpants and a t-shirt.

It was 44.3 in June 2012 when I started, now it is 28.8, looking to get it around 24 by this June :drinker:
-
Never...why would you even want to do that when it's temporary? I go up around 4-5lbs then the day after it's all gone, I just don't log that week. Having to up my weight every month would be an absolute pain, not to mention a downer. I weigh everyday to keep an eye on the gain during it though.

The attention from the opposite sex, the last time anyone asked me out I was at University, that was nearly 8 years ago! Since I've lost weight, I get a lot of compliments and have had quite a few guys ask me out, it's very flattering, but I take it with a pinch of salt, as there will always be a part of me that is hurt…

I do! I started last week, have loved being able to work out at home (as I've been going to the gym 6 days a week for the past 7 months). So far I have everything I need (though I could do with more weights), and really enjoying it.
-
Started last week and already I love it! Doing 2-3 sessions a week at home (other days are cardio/HIIT), I have a bench, dumbells, barbell, weights and a ball, which has worked fine so far. Although I think I will need more weights soon as they are getting light and I only have 40KG. Am happy to have more NROLFW friends!

I went by the average weight for my height (5'6"), which is 150lbs. I am currently 180lbs (having lost 72lbs since June 2012). I think 150 may be too small for me, and am aiming more for 160, as I set myself the target of being a size 14 (UK) and I am already that, so am hoping by the time I hit 160lbs I will be a size 12,…

Same here, it just makes me depressed to see a big gain during it. A day or two after is the time to check your weight
-
I weigh daily, but only post to MFP on a weekly basis, no matter if it's up or down, thankfully it's only ever gone down! I weigh on the same day each week, at the same time for consistency.

Female 29 5'6" SW: 252 CW: 180 GW: 150 It's taken 7 months to lose 72lbs, I still have another 28lbs to lose, but I aim to hit my goal in the summer, around my One year mark (as I started in late June). I started eating 1200 for around 3 months then upped it to 1400, I now eat between 1400 and 1500 and that seems to be…

Just updating my pic, as I've lost another 22lbs since I posted, here's the latest:

My entire journey has been a step outside my comfort zone; walking into a gym and taking part in classes at 252lbs with other people (often a lot slimmer and fitter than me) was a huge step for me when I started 7 months ago. Even doing a spin class for the first time was scary! I started New Rules of Lifting for Women…

Around 6 weeks, the first 4 months the weight dropped pretty fast, then it slowed down to 1-2lb per week and I average around 6-7lbs per month. Just hang in there, everyone loses at a different rate :drinker:

My bday is Feb. 25. CW 179 GW 175 UGW 150 I set myself a target in November of 175 by my Birthday and I'm on target to reach that, can't wait!
-
Pretty good, I'm 29!
-
I started it at 252 and completed it, it was tough but it gave me the kickstart to start exercising again. I love Jillian! Unfortunately I never took any measurements but I lost about 12lbs during it. You can see pics in my profile.
-
@RTAdesigns 22? I'm not great at this lol
-
I started at 252 on the 20th June 2012 and am now 180 (nearly exactly 7 months later), my initial goal is 150, but I've never been that small in my adult life so I will wait and see what my ultimate goal weight is when I reach 150. I'm beginning to focus more on strength and toning now than on pure cardio so I'm hoping to…

A quote from my Dad: "If it's to be, it's up to me."
-
In Spin I burn around 300-400 calories in 30 minutes and in my boxing and kettlebell classes I average around 500-650 calories for 60 minutes. Those 3 classes are when I burn the most, however running is also great. But just find something you love and do it, don't focus so much on calories burned, concentrate on giving…

If you eat it or drink it, then count it....it's the only way to keep tracking on your eating and if you're really close to goal it matters even more!

You never lose where you want, at least that's what I've found! I've lost more off the top of my body than on my waist and hips. It took me over two stone to go down a pants size but after a stone I was in a smaller size top, go figure. Eventually I know it will balance out, and although it can be frustrating, just keep…
