I'm a Macro/close-up photographer and here are some of my recent pieces:
-
Crisps....lots and lots and lots of crisps. Tayto being my favorite. I've gone from eating anywhere from 1 to 12 bags a day to having 1 bag in the last 7 months!

I have kept my biggest pair of jeans, top and workout bottoms and have given away the rest to local charities. I actually love putting on my old pair of jeans from time to time to remind me how far I've come, definitely a good pick me up if you're not having a great day!

Gave up all 'fizzy' drinks including Cola in June, 6 months later I'm 70lbs lighter, obviously that wasn't all I did, but not drinking that every week has certainly helped. Water all the way now :drinker:

I'm in! SW: 252 CW: 181 GW: 150 My goal has always been to reach 100lbs lost this June, as I started June 2012, so I'll be working to lose 31lbs by the summer :drinker:

Kettlebells is my absolute fave, lifting heavy and a little cardio in the same mix does it for me!
-
Carrs water biscuits with peanut butter on the top and then a slice of apple. Yum!

That's because they are on a DIET, they see it as temporary. I've changed my LIFESTYLE, that is permanent :flowerforyou:

So odd I should see this topic today as I just logged 70lbs lost this morning. I've lost 70lbs in 6.5 months, since June 18th 2012 when I joined MFP. Everyone loses at a different rate, but you can achieve anything if you set your mind to it and stay determined and focused. I have another 30lbs to lose before I'm in the…

I recommend the Hairy Dieters Book (UK), most of their dinners/lunches are under 500 calories and they are amazing, I've been making their recipes for about 3 months now and have yet to find one I don't like!

In my kitchen 3 weeks ago, I just got some new clothes so I had a friend take a snap as I was feeling pretty good :-)

Nearly two stone before anyone noticed, now I've lost (nearly) 5 stone and 5 sizes, I get people noticing changes every 9 or 10lbs which I find funny, considering it took over 28lbs before anyone noticed to begin with. It's different for everyone, and some people don't like to comment for fear of being rude. The most…

I joined WW a few years ago and lost around 10lbs (was there about 2.5 months) before slowly drifting away. I just didn't like having to keep to their schedule and attend meetings, just wasn't my 'thing' I guess. I joined MFP in June 2012 and have lost 68lbs so far, so it's pretty obvious MFP suits me better. I like the…

I put on 2lbs over Tuesday and Wednesday, which has now gone....so back to my original weight on Monday :drinker:

I'm 5'6" and weight 186lbs (13 stone 2lbs) and wear a size 14-16 (UK), down from 252lbs (18 stone 2lbs) in June 2012, I wore a size 22-24 then. My goal is to be 150lbs and a size 10-12 UK.

I joined MFP on June 18 and haven't looked back, cut out the junk food, try to eat clean and workout 5-6 days a week. I love mixing up my exercise and do boxing, spinning, running, walking, kettlebells and circuit training. I still have around 40lbs to go, but I am happy with my progress so far. Reading through these posts…

Jessica Ennis, those abs are spectacular!
-
Around 2 months after I started, it took that long to drop a dress size and that's when I noticed a difference, I think by then I'd lost around 20lbs.
-
I am in roars of laughter at this! My gym is closed but I'll be working out Christmas Eve and Boxing Day.
-
I've lost over 60lbs in the past 6 months but only this week have I been able to do a full press-up, at the moment I can only do 3 before failing so I'd love to work up to 100 over the next year. That's my small goal, my other big goals are to be able to run a 1/2 marathon and eventually become a fitness instructor. Dream…

I am a designer but two years ago I took up photography and now sell my photographs. I also write design/tech articles for large social media sites and blogs. This raises my income by around £300-£500 p/month (depending on photograph sales).

I turn it on when I start warming up and turn it off after the cool down, they are part of my workout so I include them in my calories burnt.
-
I've lost up to 6lbs in a week, and lost between 3-4lbs on average for the first few months but it's now averaging 1-2lb a week, which I'm quite happy with. Slow and steady wins the race

I have been awful at this, folks comment on how well I look and I just stammer and look embarassed, still don't know what to say! Usually just go with 'thank you' and move on, it's nice that people notice so I'm not sure why i find it so awkward when someone comments on my weightloss. :flowerforyou:

Start Weight: 05/11 - 199 12/11 - 197.5 19/11 - 195 26/11 - 193.8 03/12 - 192 10/12 - 189.4 17/12 - 189.4 No change this week, but I'm happy with that as I had the cold and couldn't workout, I also had 2 parties to attend. Will be hoping for a good loss this week!
-
Wish mine was that! I'm the same height and weight as you and mine is 37% :noway: Although when I started it was over 53%, so coming down thankfully!

This! I've lost over 60lbs in the past 6 months but I still 'see' myself as fat, I know I'm thinner but I still can't see myself as 60lbs thinner! When I go into a shop I still tend to pick up larger sizes, it's like my brain hasn't caught up to my body yet.
