I try to plan most of my days to pre-log when I can, especially when I'm at work so I know what my day looks like. Definitely takes the hassle out of logging!

Always thought the same. I use Impact Whey Protein from myprotein.com and love it.

Did some research and it's the average weight for my height, but I will re-elevate my goal weight when I actually reach it, and see if I want to lose anymore depending on how I feel.

Losing numerous members of my family to heart problems, I'm 29 and was headed on a path to serious heart complications and perhaps even diabetes. I decided I didn't want my life to go down that path, I'm working towards a healthier, happier me and 2013 will be my year! :drinker:

Started off not being able to run for 60 seconds in June, I completed C25K which I credit with making me into a runner (use that term loosely as I still wouldn't call myself a 'real' runner). I ran my first race, a 5K in September in 35minutes, and now my 5K PB is 29minutes. I'm still slow but I'm getting there, now…

I started June 18 (2012) and lost 40lbs in 3.5 months, since then it's slowed a little (to be expected), but still going. Pics are on my profile. Hoping to meet my goal by May 2013

I don't buy a lot of clothes in each size, as I'm going through sizes every 8 weeks, I have just enough to get me through until I'm in the next smaller size. I've noticed that as I've lost weight I've got a lot more interested in fashion and can now shop in most stores (no more plus size). I've never lost this amount of…

"If it's to be, it's up to me." My father always said that to me, you are in charge of your own destiny, if you want it, then make it happen.

I've lost 60lbs in less than 6 months (5 months 20 days to be exact), so it is possible, hard work and dedication in the bucket full will take you further than you imagined. I cut out all junk and soda, workout 5-6 days a week and eat as clean as possible. I don't go hungry and eat around 1300-1400 calories daily, I'm not…

I have milestone rewards for every stone (14lbs) I lose, anything from a new pair of boots to a haircut or facial. It keeps me motivated and has helped break up the 100lbs I had to lose into smaller goals. I do though have a holiday booked next June as that will a year from when I started. However I agree with Rayman,…

I've been doing some HIIT for around 6 weeks and my pace has increased dramatically, going from around 11min/mile to 9.30min/mile (still slow but I'm getting there). I read up on Interval training, decided to give it a go and it's done more than I ever expected. You really do have to push yourself though on those bursts of…

Kettlebells have done wonders for my bingo wings, after 6 months of kettlebell classes, they are disappearing. Kettlebells have helped tone up my arms and shoulders like nothing else, easily my favorite workout.

When I started this lifestyle 6 months ago all I did was walk, but the walk I did was on a footpath on one of the main roads in our town, hundreds of cars passed me and I'm sure in those cars were people i knew. At first I was a little embarrassed to be seen waddling along, but after a while I was so concentrated on…

The first 50lbs it was between 2-4, now it's slowing down and I'm averaging around 1.5-2lbs a week. Slow and steady

To get an accurate reading you will need one with a chest strap, before I got my Polar FT4 I really didn't want one with a chest strap either as I thought it would be uncomfortable, however after wearing it for just a few minutes I forget I have it on. I never notice it during a workout, it's insanely comfortable. I've…

05/11 - 199 12/11 - 197.5 19/11 - 195 26/11 - 193.8 3/11 - 192 Had been hovering between 191 and 192 so was hoping it would be 191 this morning, but alas it wasn't to be. Great to see everyone doing so well :drinker:

I don't want to be skinny, I want to be FIT! Fit, healthy and toned, that's what I'm aiming for. Being fit and healthy is definitely worth it, I'm prolonging my life which is more than enough for me!

I love doing a mix of things, it stops me from getting bored and from my body getting to used to one exercise. Throughout the week I do a mix of running, kettlebells, boxing and circuit training. The most beneficial has been the kettlebells, it's helped tone and shape my body up like nothing else

I give my old clothes away, but things I have hardly worn I sell on eBay, and that pays for the next round of clothes. I only buy just enough to get me through that size, I'm going through a size every 6-8 weeks so it doesn't make sense to spend too much. I try to get as much wear out of what I have as possible.

I lost over 28lbs before anyone noticed, and now I've lost 57lbs, some people still haven't noticed! Crazy, but then again some folks don't like to comment on your weight in case it may offend. Lose weight for you, don't sweat it if no-one notices for a while, just keep going :flowerforyou:

This thread is killing me!

I have given all my big clothes to a local charity, no way am I keeping them in my closet as I'm never going back to those sizes again! I only have a few items of clothing I actually wear because I've gone through sizes so quick I don't spend much and have just enough in my current size to keep me going.

You could log you food manually, pen and paper costs nothing, or else just keep tabs in your head and be sensible with treats and portions. I went on vacation for a week in September, I ate out most days, had treats and pudding a few times and some alcohol, and managed to lose 2lbs when I weighed myself when I came back.…

It throws my weight loss outta wack for a week, as I gain around 3-5lbs on average (which disappears a soon as it's gone), major water retention and I generally feel pretty bloated and 'heavy'. I don't check the scales during it, as it would be pretty discouraging! I don't really struggle with food cravings, so am lucky in…

Think the hunger pangs have gotten to the OP's brain! I put on weight because I ate too much junk food and didn't exercise....I've been losing weight by cutting down on junk food and exercising. Hunger pangs? Nope, don't have them, I get a little hungry when it's close to meal times though, which is normal. I'm not…

11/4 199lbs 11/11 197.5lbs 11/18 195lbs I had aimed for 6lbs this month, but am pleased that I've already lost 4lbs, so hoping for another 4lbs before the end of the month. Everyone is doing great :drinker:

I started at 252, and am currently 195. I took a pic when I lost 50lbs about 4 weeks ago, but you can see the progress so far: My goal is 150, so another 43lbs to go. It is possible, just keep going :drinker:

You're not alone, I really like both those characters, even if they might not be everyones cup of tea!
