What an episode, so disappointed in Andrea letting Michonne walk away, I hope they meet up again soon!

I don't worry about the cal burn, I just give it my all every workout.....usually though it averages between 400-700 (I have a HRM).

I'm down 55lbs in 5 months and down from 44% BF to 30% and I've lost a band and a cup size so far (now a 38C), I have another 50lbs to lose so am expecting to go down another cup size. But I'm happy because I always hated having big boobs!

I carry most of my weight around my waist and hips, it's incredibly frustrating as I can be up to two sizes bigger in jeans than tops, because of that. No such thing as spot reducing so I just keep eating well and working out and hope that as I go along they get smaller!

In the morning, after you go to the restroom, and before breakfast.

I eat three meals and haven't had a problem so far, I think the eating frequently info is more of a myth. Personally I couldn't face eating 5 or 6 times a day, but everyone is different, so just do what works for you

I lost a bunch of weight the first few weeks but it wasn't until I lost about 28lbs (after about 9 weeks) that I really saw a difference when I looked in the mirror. I'd agree with everyone else, take measurements, it's as satisfying to see you've lost inches, just as much as pounds!

You never lose where you want, at least that's what I've found! I've lost more off the top of my body than on my waist and hips. It took me over two stone to go down a pants size but after a stone I was in a smaller size top, go figure. Until just last week I was a (UK) size 16 top but a size 20 bottoms, on Saturday I…

Usually no, but if I'm hungry I have no problem eating them back. Whatever works for you

I have mine at 40% Carbs / 30% Protein / 30% Fat, which has worked great so far for the 5 months I've been on MFP. I didn't realise it until I started tracking my food here, but I was a real carb junkie! Now I focus more on getting adequate protein

For the first 50lbs I consistently lost 2-3lbs a week but now it's slower and I'm losing 1.5-2lbs a week. I've had a few weeks of losing nothing then suddenly drop 3-4lbs, but it's usually pretty consistent.

Great challenge! I went running for 3 miles last night, circuit training this morning and will be at the gym fri/sat/sun for a workout. Gotta keep moving :drinker:
-
I thought I was the only one! I've had a few people compliment me on my loss so far and I generally have no clue what to say back, I end up looking awkward and stammering 'thanks'. :blushing:

Ah we are twins! I've added you as a friend, congrats on the great job so far!

I started on the 18th June this year, so that's nearly 5 months and I've lost 55lbs. I've had weeks I didn't lose then others when I've lost 6lbs, but now it's beginning to slow down to 1-2lbs a week. However I'm happy with that, slow and steady wins the race  I don't take cheat days, I don't eat junk food or drink…

Start weight - 199 11/12 - 197.5 Would love to be 195 by the end of this week, but as ever the scales can't be forced

Hi! I'm 197 (started at 252), and my goal weight is 150, but honestly I've never in my adult life been that small so won't really know if that's my ultimate goal till I get there

Thinking about being able to wear fashionable clothes and walk into any store and buy clothes that I really like, not just plus size stores. That alone is enough to motivate me, it may sound shallow, but being overweight most of my life, shopping is something I've always dreaded. I'm looking forward to the day I can enjoy…

When I went to uni and didn't bother to learn how to cook! Takeaways, junk food and lots of alcohol tends to lead to massive weight gain :noway:

 Love it!

Kettlebells have changed my body dramatically in just 5 months. I do a few hours per week and it's helped tone up my arms and legs like nothing else. If i could only pick one exercise to do for the rest of my life, it would be kettlebells.

Every morning, i like to know how my body reacts to certain foods and also because i'm too curious not too  EDIT: Should put though that I only log my weight once a week on MFP.

Yes! I've lost 56lbs in the past 5 months, but when I'm out shopping i still pick up the size I wore months ago 22/24, even though I'm now 16/18. It's like my brain hasn't adjusted to the fact I'm alot smaller. If I'm out shopping with friends they'll pick me up a top in size 16 and say 'that's cute, try it on', and I'll…

LOL Thank you! Loved it myself when i found the pic, thought I had to use it as my ticker!

Thank you! I just replaced crisps with healthier treats, at the moment Kallo Chocolate rice cake thins are my fave, and only 55 calories.
-
Spot on. I'm aiming for 10lbs, anymore and of course I'll be happy, but I think 10 is realistic
-
Crisps - especially Tayto, I could eat 12 bags in one sitting! They are my achilles heel, so much so, that I have cut them out from my lifestyle altogether, haven't had a single crisp in nearly 5 months.....and don't miss them one bit

As others have said you absolutely can lose weight without exercising but why wait until you reach your goal before toning up, when you have a great chance of preventing loose skin while your losing? I've lost over 50lbs in the past few months and used to have ugly 'bingo wings', but with lots of boxing and kettlebells…
