Bump for later!

I'm a school teacher so I had TON of professional clothes. I kept all the nicer clothes to give away to friends/family and donated the rest. I swear I kept the Good Will in business for that month. lol Also, I take a lot of my old rock band t-shirts and crafted them into new styles using Pinterest. It was a lot of fun!

I came across a saying the other day that said "I don't care if you ate Charlie's entire chocolate factory...NEVER STOP MOVING!" If you expect to be on the straight and narrow your entire life, your setting yourself up for failure. Every time I found myself not giving into my cravings, I ended up binge eating instead. Just…

I LOVE unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk! My husband has even started to use it over milk. The only thing I'd advise it to start eating it in something before you start drinking it straight. I put it in my cereal for a while until I got use to the taste. Don't start drinking it thinking it will be like regular milk, it's…

-85 pounds while eating 1200 calories! Keep up the good work.

The tummy is all I have left to lose. Just don't give up and ask yourself how bad you want it! I want it pretty damn bad.

For the past 16 months I've worked nonstop to become 160 lbs. I can understand why people would say that. You're worried about 10 pounds when some of us are struggling with 100+. I've never been 157 pounds... Be optimistic and positive about what you have. It could always be worse.

I cut down on my carbs because I'm a diabetic. I didn't completely cut them out of my diet, I try and stick to a ratio to 30 carbs to 15 protein. If anything its taught me how to properly portion control. I've lost 95 pounds in 15 months and the life style is very sustainable. I couldn't be happier with my results.

Middle School Teacher I LOVE teaching. I love figuring out ways to get my students involved and learn. I HATE the politics that go into it. North Carolina just released the education budget and it's amazing to me how we do not invest in our young people. It makes me worry for our future.

Beautiful!!!! Dropping knowledge, watch your toes!

LOVE YOURSELF! Once I started to do that, all the attention I was getting didn't bother me as much. I was never scared about losing weight and how It was going to change me. The change in my health and the way that I felt about myself out weighs (pun intended) any of that attention. Also, after a while people stop caring.…

I personally eat no more than 30 carbs at any meal. My max is about 120 a day and I'm on the Link and Balance diet.

I agree with this. Confidence is an amazing thing! As someone who has lost a lot of weight, I've managed to keep it classy. I haven't slutted it up because I love my husband. =)

I purposely didn't read any either but your post was exactly what I was thinking. Do we work in the same school district? lol, we have the exact same thing at my school.

The school system that I work in only gives healthy choices as an option but they provide chips, ice cream and other portion controlled snacks. I notice a lot of the students pass on the sweet items or they just pack their own lunches. What about schools that are lower income and have the government provide a large…

I had PCOS and Insulin Resistance 13 months ago. I started low carb dieting and exercising three times a week. I started a diet called "Link and Balance" where you eat 7 protein for every 15 carbs. The weight fell off! I'm currently 95 pounds lighter and no longer have PCOS or Insulin Resistance. Low carb dieting changed…

Bumping for later! Thanks for sharing.

I agree with you! I kind of feel like these charts are out dated. However, I wonder if it's the charts or if it's us? Meaning, are we just so use to seeing over weight people that we don't know what a healthy BMI looks like anymore? /shrugs. Thank so much for the support! I'm sure you will reach your goal in no time. Just…

That was really an eye opener for me (pun intended). I didn't realize how much fat I had in my face! I had people say to me "I didn't know you had green eyes!" My hair even looks healthier! It's amazing what changing your diet can do. Keep fighting the good fight!
