  • Thanks everyone!
  • If you're like me, the face fat was one of the first things I wanted to go. You are beautiful and congratulations!
  • I am so sorry! WLS is hard enough without going through a horrible loss. I agree with the others. Give yourself some time to heal emotionally, and the physical part will catch back up.
  • I haven't done their weekly plan, but I am addicted to their snack bars which are about $8 a box depending on what you get. They are awesome so I highly recommend them! Wal-Mart is the cheapest place I've found to get them.
  • My bad people! I was wrong on that one or all of it.
  • It sounds like you're doing everything right! Remember that muscle weighs more than fat so you could be gaining muscle in some places. You're losing inches which is great! It's only been a month so give it some time!
  • Maintenance for me has been great. I eat exactly what MFP has given me, and I've maintained since July.
  • I didn't think they were ever going to let poor Otto go!
  • I love Chucky! He became such an awesome character.
  • I know how you feel! I didn't know what to do! It was either cry or throw something.
  • I completely agree! There is a darkness in him that is starting to come out. I agree with lawandfitness that he's probably going to be the one that ends up killing Gemma.
  • That was horrible! That whole episode killed a part of my soul!
  • I totally did not see that coming! I almost screamed out loud!
  • My doctor upped my dosage a few weeks ago, and they have just gotten worse. I guess I'm just going to have to deal with it!
  • I sure will! Thank you!
  • Well I work with someone, and she has the same problem so I started researching it, and it's a side effect of Synthroid. I've discovered that it's hit and miss with people. I was just wondering if there was a way of coping with it?!?! It makes me crazy!
  • I had gastric bypass in August of last year. It took me almost a year to lose the weight. It was easily one of the best decisions I've ever made. MFP has really helped to maintain my weight though. I plan on using this app probably forever. It really makes me accountable. Thank you so much! It's an awesome feeling to know…
  • Definitely couldn't do without my Greek yogurt

  • The first few weeks are all about adjusting to new things. It's still hard for me to get all of my liquids because I basically have to drink all day to achieve that. Sometimes just thinking about having to drink water makes me sick.
  • I struggled with getting protein in the beginning too. I had to make myself drink the little bit of protein I got. I never got anywhere close to what was needed. As a result, I did lose some of my hair, but I knew that was a consequence. I just got so sick of those protein shakes, and now I can't even stand to look at one!
  • I completely understand the whole turning to food thing! For whatever reason, food is a huge comfort and being an emotional eater is a huge struggle. I've had to learn other ways to cope. If you need any motivation or support feel free to message me!
  • Well just using this app is a great step in the right direction. Stick to it! It has worked wonders for me!

  • There really is no specific remedy to this problem. Some people try to replace thoughts of food with something else like a hobby to keep their mind busy. A lot of it is self control though. You know how bad you want to lose weight, and you know what it takes to get there.
  • I know how you feel. I gained so much weight my first year in college. I definitely wasn't looking out for myself or what I was eating. It sounds like you're doing everything right. Make sure you're eating what the calculator sets for you. Just stick with it. I know it's hard when you're not seeing progress, but it will…
  • I completely know where you're coming from! I had gastric bypass in August of last year, and my thought from that day on was to lose, lose, and lose some more. I've recently hit my maintenance and changing my mind set has been really hard. It's kind of like I forgot I had to quit losing at some point. I'm a little…
  • I'm so glad it worked for you! Mine saved me!
  • My sleep apnea was completely resolved after surgery
  • I bought my binder at a medical supply store where they sell things like crutches and wheel chairs. I found some on Wal-Mart's website as well. You might be able to find one in a big chain pharmacy like CVS or Walgreen's.
  • I would definitely go out and buy a medical binder. It keeps you wrapped tight after surgery which made me feel so much better. I didn't feel like I had to hold my stomach all the time.
