Amazing job, you should be very proud!

We gave our 3 month old the middle name WInchester :)

Okay, I'm generalizing. I think there's a big difference between eating dried beans, or eating a frozen pizza. Technically, a cut of beef has been "processed". How about we just say "not crap"?

Nope, a tub doesn't count

Agreed! Forgot to mention, that some taste really good too. Anyone that doesn't like protein shakes has never had cake batter flavored ones, yuuuum.
-
If you aren't lifting, you're probably just fine. They're great for convenience though, if you aren't always home and able to eat your protein.
-
To me, it's not eating packaged crap. We eat a lot of chicken, fish, beans, rice, eggs, quinoa, fruit, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, etc. When I need something sweet I have homemade protein bars that I make, that way I know exactly what's in them. Basically, we eat nothing that comes in a box.

I hate them, they're evil. Necessary evil though.
-
Sure, go for it!

Not that I'm aware of. Boobs are made of fat, so if you lose fat, you lose boobs. In my experience it's one of the first things to go

This may have been mentioned, but the Crystal Light (and other generic brands) are great. Cheap, and last a long time. I have the grape energy in the morning (equivalent to two energy drinks, but I get my water), and there is also a nice green tea/peach one, lemonade, cherry limeade, etc, etc. I plow through water with…

That's a huge difference!
-
That's amazing! You did that in one year?! Great job.

If you're craving chocolate, add cocoa to something (you'll want to add some truvia, stevia, etc too). Super chocolately, minimal calories, and good health benefits. Mixed into cottage cheese or yogurt with strawberries is gooood. Sugar free jello is great too. If you like pumpkin, canned pumpkin with sweetener and…

I have a four year old boy (as well as a 9 year old girl and 3 month old boy). Feel free to add me :)

Wow!
-
Great job, you look beautiful!
-
Awesome job!!

You should be eating around 500 extra calories for breastfeeding.

Me! I have a full sleeve on one arm, half sleeve on the other, stuff on both calves, one on my shoulder blade, wrist, ankle, finger, and chest. Jeez, that sounds like a lot, lol.

We buy a LOT of bulk (I'm not sure if many grocery stores have a bulk section though.). That's where we get oats, beans, quinoa, rice, flax, nuts, etc. Flash frozen fish is a really good deal, as is chicken. Whole chickens are much cheaper than breasts, etc. Make your own pasta sauce from canned tomatoes. Meat is totally…

Agreed! I lost 75lbs years ago low carbing, and that diet was very cheese heavy. Personally, I say it just depends on your caloric intake. I use it when I want, and don't when it isn't really necessary.

Definitely NOT fat, and not really skinny fat. Maybe just lift weights and add some muscle definition.
-
Just had my baby 3 months ago. I only gained 8lbs, but I'm trying to lose what I gained before that. Anyone feel free to add me, mom support would be great!
-
Ditto!
-
What would you consider the right ratio of carbs/fat/protein? I try to get the maximum amount of protein I can, but short of owning a farm, its hard to get more protein than carbs.
-
My husband and I both are lifting. He's just trying to get nice muscle definition (he's already pretty big and muscular), and I'm trying to build muscle while burning fat.
-
Hi there, welcome! Congrats on the baby, mine is 3 months old. I started working out a month ago, but I didn't have a c-section to contend with. Feel free to add me, we can discuss exercise and sleep deprivation together :)
-
Are your calves muscular, carry fat, or both? Some great exercises are squats and lunges for upper leg area, and if you want to build muscle on your calves to burn off any fat that is there (yes, you can't spot reduce, but it helps), standing and sitting calf raises are good. If you just have muscular calves (I do, but I…

This is the one I'm doing, very beginner friendly, and nutrition is flexible http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/jamie-eason-livefit-trainer.html This one is more hardcore, and more disciplined, structured nutrition. I've seen amazing results from both.…
