Excited to see this!

BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Awesome thread is awesome.
-
I don't understand how the rational thread got DELETED and the banging-my-head-against-the-wall one only got locked. But happy this one is up now. You look awesome, OP. :drinker:

And so more in the general community can as well. And of course, #freeyoovie

Bumping to look into the suggestions given
-
I definitely prefer my veggies raw (with just a *couple* of exceptions) due to taste and texture, but there are some good suggestions in this thread (and this particular post below).

Bought this one yesterday =) http://www.wayfair.com/Marcy-Pro-Power-Rack-and-Bench-PM-3800-MCY1080.html

bump to find later
-
That's a viable option, as long as I can find a good bench for $60 or under. Thanks!
-
I tried! lol. He said that he would be spotting me so I would be fine (hmmmm, Mister, what about when you lift?? You think I'll be able to properly spot you?...gotta remember to say that later lol). I also don't think he understands that I want to actually be strong, and not "strong for a girl", which means I hope to one…

Closest one is a bit far, plus it would be a real pain in the *kitten* to find a truck to borrow to transport it. Thank you for the suggestion, though! I think the wayfair website one is the best price I've seen for the equipment so far, but my fiance thinks it's a waste of money and that a regular rack will suffice. I'm…

Thank you! :flowerforyou:

Think I may have found a winner....that cage is $360 with shipping, but no bench, which I need. This is $390 with a bench, plus pull up bar and dip station... http://www.wayfair.com/Marcy-Pro-Power-Rack-and-Bench-PM-3800-MCY1080.html
-
Yeah, I got really excited when I saw that one, and then saw that it's another $100 for shipping =( Still seems to be the best deal though--the sumo racks are way more than that when you factor in shipping. That may be the one I end up going with....just gotta find a decent deal on a bench, bar, and weights. Maybe…
-
Thanks guys for your posts. At the risk of sounding completely stupid here, how do you squat and bench in a cage or using a sumo rack? I haven't ever used those before and I'm trying to visualize it.... And while craiglist may be my best bet price wise, I'm getting really impatient trying to find things (been looking for a…
-
Yup, in the US, see previous comment for craigslist. I'll go back onto amazon to see about the power cages. I really appreciate the input. Now just to start twisting my man's arm.....
-
Thanks for the site. Also, I've been searching on craigslist and it seems like no one in my area likes to squat =/ I really want to get this home gym set up and I've been looking for quite some time. Just getting restless I suppose.
-
Thanks, Sara, for the response. I thought having a spotter would allow for these to work well, but if there is a safety concern, I definitely want to address that. I don't want to spend more than ~$300 on a rack, especially if it doesn't include an adjustable bench. I'd really want to spend less than that if it doesn't…

@fire_rock -- They all have catches on the backside for racking. If you know of any better equipment, please let me know. I am new to buying gym equipment, which is why I'm asking for advice.
-
Some of these are waaaaay too funny! Bumping =)
-
I have seen them in the much-lacking "specialty cheese section" at Walmart, but at Kroger (which has a quite large selection of actual specialty cheese) they are actually in the shredded cheese, prepackaged deli cheese, jarred queso, etc. section. So check a couple different spots if you can't find them at whatever grocery…

I would also say footwear is the culprit. I needed a new pair of sneakers badly (I was using my Chucks because my "workout" sneakers got lost, how I don't know, and I still can't find them) and couldn't afford them. The Chucks were giving me shin splints before I could even make it halfway down the block with my dog. But…

WIN. Wait, you're already a winner. Damn it. Should have seen that coming...

I always start with nibbling on the ears

You have done an amazing job. You astound me. Good for freakin' you. I'm so humbled that I can't even put exclamation points where I normally would. Not to take away from you and your success, but I am so happy you posted the section I am quoting. You rock. Keep on living.

Silly me, I thought this dilemma was brought about by the rise of stupidity/lack of humor/overly sensitive feelings on the forums recently. As for your question, it looks like you've figured out what you would like to do. Good luck.
-
 :noway: Is this even a real question?! It doesn't even warrant an answer.
-
I don't eat breakfast at a "normal" time (I do IF), but these are all things I need to look into...
-
Sooooooooo in love with this thread!!! ETA: Can I just keep bumping this over and over? .....like for the rest of MFP's existence?

You know what's sad? Some people won't even get THAT ^ ......
