thanks, everyone! my new meal challenge for myself is to try to meet my fat/sugar max. any pointers would be great, but i know i've been eating food that is high in fat of late (and am REALLY challenged to ignore my sweet tooth). =/

lol thaaaanks XD i can't help but say that i'm still so grateful i can motivate. it's hard to find other women with my body type. i feel like the wide hips/shoulders falls in the background to women with slimmer frames. this is soooo motivating for me to keep at it!

you go, girl! i'm 5'8" too but definitely have a bigger frame than you. i'm hoping to get to 150 from 180 right now. my SUPER dream goal is 140 -- or at least LOOK that. i focus a lot on lifting and cardio, so i think my muscle mass might take up those ten pounds, if not more. =P

don't you love that? I haven't weighed myself lately but i go by how loose my clothes are. :D they get annoying but it's such a great feeling, knowing you'll need a smaller size!

wow, great transformation, shorty! redhead -- what do you do for your weight training? i go pretty hard on my legs but have taken it easy since i tore a ligament in my ankle. now i'm focusing more on core/upper body.

that is awesome! i keep hearing about insanity. we have the p90x package but i haven't used it.. i can't seem to get in to the popular/trending workouts, but i see their AMAZING results. i always lose the weight in my legs and face quickets. my stomach/butt are like -- "lol jk we're hanging out for another 15lbs."

when i know i'm doing well for a while, i'll treat myself to a cookie or two. i've completely cut out juice and pop, with a cup of 2% milk here and there. i used to drink all three ALL THE TIME. now, i know i just like the taste/texture. i don't need it. so i will have a sip of a friend's just to satisfy my damnable taste…

i've been keeping up!! it's nice to know that commitment can extend to this group, even if it isn't something we do in person, together. my knees have been very sore this month, so i've been doing a lot of interval, stairs, and speed walking uphill. i feel great, but my buns are pretty sore!

Just joined this site today and have been consistently working out for two weeks now. My goal is to run at least one mile a day after work -- I'm already at 1.5mi a day, so I think I'll go over! Excited to get this going.
