  • It's strange how many people here recommend probiotics, when I find they can actually trigger my symptoms. Activia yoghurts are the worst for me, can't even finish the pot without having to rush to the loo! :( I've been diagnosed by my doctor for seven years now and I still haven't worked out what causes my bloating. The…
  • I haven't visited this thread in ages, so thanks to those who have posted since I last wrote on here! :ohwell: Since visiting this thread last, I actually went for a blood test at the doctor's to see if I could finally have some sort of clue as to what causes the reactions and bloating. I was checked for pretty much every…
  • Great post, just shared it on my facebook page! :)
  • Those pictures are amazing guys!! Wish I had the talent to draw like that!!! :grumble: Would you mind me posting them on my pole addicts facebook page?

  • Thank you! I really appreciate everyone getting involved! :)
  • I still get stiff fingers sometimes after gripping the pole tight for long periods of time, but it's not painful The main pain I seem to get these days is in my forearm/wrist whenever I try moves like the flag or staburst... really annoys me as it stops me doing these moves that I love so much! :(
  • Thank you!
  • As you liked my page on facebook I'll share your blog on there too!
  • Thanks guys, really appreciate it!
  • Thank you!!! :flowerforyou:
  • I am super super proud of myself this week as I finally managed to get my shoulder mount nailed!!! My collar bone is realy really hating me at the moment ut I don't care, I'm too pleased with myself! :glasses:
  • I'm not entirely clear on what grip you're referring to... think we all have different names for different grips. Have you got a picture example so I can see what you mean?
  • We're allowed snacks like biscuits and crisps and stuff, but when it comes to other things that could count as a meal, that has to be saved till lunchtime. And yeah a lot of people have moaned about the factt hat smokers get a break and the non smokers don't... but nothing has ever been done about it! :/ For the time being…
  • Thanks for replying guys. Darren: Yes I did Porridge for quiet a while, but I found it didn't fill me up for long and it also made me bloated due to the milk (slight lactose intolereance!) And turkey breast is my staple food of the week pretty much, I have it nearly everyday for dinner and I love it! :) I should point out…
  • So glad to see others on here are enjoying the game! I got a copy of the game over a week before it came out and have completed it twice since then, I haven't been this much in love with a Tomb Raider game in years! Crystal have finally started to get it right! Do wish they'd get rid of the QTE though Oh and a shameless…
  • That sucks for me if Activia is supposed to help, as if anything it's the only yoghurt I have had recently that actually triggers my IBS!

  • I'm on my second playthrough at the moment (I got a promo copy over a week before release) and I've never done that with a Crystal TR before. It feels like it is trying to get back to the classics, while making the compromise of staying a modern game! I absolutely love it, might even be in my top 5 of tomb raiders!
  • I use two as I was unable to do any real inverted moves because my palms were so sweaty. I use Tite Grip Anti Perspirant which is a liquid that dries on your hands, kind of like a thick foundation, and then when that's dried I use Mighty Grip powder. Only need to apply once each pole session which shows how good the stuff…
  • When I started pole, I had no strength, no flexibility and no coordination. I've been doing it now for nearly 3 years and it's the best decision I made. Your strength improves everytime and your confidence has a massive boost too. I don't think there's a better form of exercise out there, coming from someone who hates most…
  • I did it for the best part of a year and lost about 20lbs, but it was very difficult to maintain and about a year to the day of starting it I had gained all my weight back. For me the Dukan Diet didn't work and made for a really hard year, but it has helped me in terms of how I see different food etc, so I eat a lot better…
  • An amazing find! Thank you! Although, looking back, the price of £35 was for the two DVDs together: Strecthing For Pole and Splits Stretching, which are best to buy together as the Stretching For Pole one doesn't do much on the splits... if you were to buy them separately at £20 each... it seems I was right with…
  • The one I'm really wanting to buy is Aleathea Austen's Stretching for Pole as it's meant to be really good for all over flexibility, but it's £35!!! :noway: Will either have to save up for it, or ask for it for my birthday in May.... :grumble:
  • Feeling my split grip Butterfly is getting really strong now so decided the other day to give extended butterfly a go... have to say I found it a lot easier than I thought I would, although I'm not 100% there as the pole was too sticky for me to pull my leg all the way down to my heel... but still progress! Going to try…
  • Not really! I don't wear shoes for my pole dancing, I don't consider them safe when I'm going upside down etc!
  • Just tried to watch it and it comes up with "This content is currently unavailable" Turns out you can't watch it unless you live in Australia!
  • Have to ask you, what is the super invert? Can't say I've heard of it?
  • Haven't posted in here in a while so thought I'd make an update of photos! I cracked the flatline scorpio quite a while back, but I haven't ahd the chance to take a really good picture, but last night I had a really good, and really strong session so was able to hold the position long enough for my boyfriend to take…
  • Thanks for the tip! To be fair, I thought the same about my teacher, but I thought the fact that she was previously a champion would override that, clearly not! :-/ I only had back problems after every lesson, my boyfriend would come and pick me up and I'd have to lay flat in the back of the car because the small…
  • Brilliant thanks for that!
  • Hve you tried looking at your local gym or fitness place? Try googling pole dancing where you live, and I'm sure you'll find something! :)
