Hi, Kelly. This is a great site and just a tip... I find it easiest to carry a little notebook around with me to write down the things I am eating when I am not near the computer.

A few weeks ago I had a similar question and someone told me lots of stretching helps, personally I can't seem to do much of nothing, not even stretch! I am a runner so to not even want to stretch is awful. Lots of calcium is supposed to help and as for sugar, a little bit of dark chocolate works wonders. Its only like 180…

For portion control I use measuring cups on the go and sometimes at home I just eat my foods right out of the measuring cup so I am fully aware of how much I am consuming. On a party night I carry the beer bottle tops so I know exactly how many I've had, and can calculate accordingly.

I love True Blood!!! I didn't watch last night's episode yet. My friend told me that they are coming out with a True Blood soda. Its blood orange flavored. I'm curious to try that. :heart:

How does a heart rate monitor even work? I don't want to buy it if I don't really understand how the heartbeat determines how much calories you are burning. :sad:

I weigh myself every couple of days and always record it, if for no other reason than to see the progress report chart fluctuate. I like an accurate account of the variations; water weight is irrelevant.

I tried to do a slow walk but I only lasted about 15 minutes and the stretching was maybe another 15, so that didn't do much for me and the bath just made me feel less gross. Cinnabon makes a snack bar that is only 150 calories and almost as good as the original. Its called Cinnabon Original Bar. Try that next time! :tongue:

BRAT diet. Banana Rice Applesauce Toast None of them has too many calories but will help your tummy settle. Drink lots of water.

My weight tends to go up and down on a regular basis when its not "that time." So girlie issues only make matters worse. I can gain as much as seven pounds the week before. That and I can't seem to stop eating and feel lazy lazy LAZY!!!

Rain Running is just more fun. Nice way to renew your youth with all that splashing and hopping around! I am addicted to Coke Zero. You could pump that stuff right into my brain. I don't drink it that often and there are somethings that go best with a glass of soda. Like the perfect slice of pizza! :love: Besides with all the horrible things that we are subjected to, so what about sweeteners.

It always makes me feel better that you sweat more when its hot. If it doesn't have any added calorie burning advantage I do feel like it helps get more toxins out. Who knows?

Wow! I've never gone to the Cheesecake Factory although its been recommended by plenty of people! I'm glad I read your posts, because I sure as heck won't be going there. Yikes.
