Your numbers might it be that far off. I had my rmr tested and I was at 2000-2200. Add in a 500 cal workout, teaching, taking care of my family, and just general movement, I bet 3200 isn't that far off. If your numbers are right, you're only getting half of what you need a day. I'm not training for any running events, but I've been running or spinning on my non lifting days. I've been fine, but I usually worked out 6 times a week anyway. I'm half way through stage 4 if you want to keep in contact. I think we should be pretty close to the same point.

That is the weight DVD with the biggest burn for me (5-' 5" - 138). I usually burn around 400-500.

I don't know about when you're running - if my form is bad, mine still hurts. The only thing I've found that helps is a foam roller. It hurts at first, but it really works the band so it doesn't hurt when I run - or go up and down stairs.

I've had IT band problems a few different times. Try using a foam roller (google for exercises). It helped me. Even after I was sore after a half marathon and struggled going up and down stairs. Also heard Stronger core helps prevent it. I know mine acts up when I don't have good form.

Legs and back yesterday, rest today. Oh, and I painted a bedroom and our family/theater room - by myself. Love it when mom keeps the boys for the weekend! Quiet morning of cleaning and putting things away. Have a great sunday!

CST done :) Wonder if the heat/humidity is making me burn more calories. I'm burning about 100 more each workout the last week and a half. Hope everyone is able to stay cool. Sounds like it's hot everywhere.

I did plyo today instead of Wednesday because we finally had a nice day for running so I switched my days. I haven't had a rest day since last tues (5th) and I could tell - plyo was harder than last week. Legs and back should be interesting tomorrow. Rest day on Sunday!

I know it sounds horrible, but the sweetner in yogurt and the oj cover up the taste of cottage cheese, and the blender takes out the chuncks. I'm all over protein shakes now instead though!

I did one with yogurt, cottage cheese and orange juice. You could probably add fruit to it too if you wanted.
