You are doing awesome! You're so right about this being a lifestyle change. I have definitely accepted it as such which for me means there will be an occassional day when I have fried chicken for brunch and dinner and chocolate chip cookies in the same day ;)

Hi ladies! My weigh in was Thursday. Just popping in with an update--I weighed in at 199 pounds. I finally made it to Onederland and passed my official December goal weight of 200 pounds. WooHoo. This means I need to set a new goal--still thinking about this. I don't know if I want to push myself to try and lose another 10…

Greetings! Hope everything is going well with you ladies ;) My weigh in was yesterday (Thanksgiving day). I came in at 202 pounds--down three pounds after stalling at 205 for two weigh ins in a row. Hopefully I will be in Onederland for my next weigh in. Keep pushing. We only have one month left in this challenge.

OMG wasn't that horrible. I saw that this summer. I'm still trying to get over it.

Thanks! I'm 5'4" and MFP has me set at 1200 calories daily with a goal of losing 2 pounds per week. I stay close to that amount every day. I haven't been eating my exercise calories back--I know that is a touchy subject with some people. If I'm hungry, then I eat something. I don't go over 1600 calories. I pretty much walk…

Greetings ladies--today is 11/1/12 and I am here for my weekly check in. I weighed in at 209. Down four pounds from last week currently at my November goal! I hope to see Onderland by the end of the month if Thanksgiving doesn't derail me. Stay strong and take care ladies!

great job!

I still log but generally don't eat back my exercise calories.

Rockin body with Shaun T from BeachBody is fun if you like to dance. It's like learning a dance routine step by step. I am not a dancer and the moves are fun and easy to follow.

Hi ladies! Today is 10/25/12--I weighed in at 213 pounds--down one pound from last week--four pounds away from my November goal. Had a few sluggish days this week but trying to get back on track. How is your journey going?????????? Keep pushing ladies!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Yes you can definitely lose weight with walking as your only exercise. I lost 80 pounds about ten years ago only walking 4 days a week and watching my diet by decreasing junk and fried foods. (I gained it back because I stopped walking and started eating crazy stuff again ;))

Try a dab of KY jelly on the electrodes & make sure the chest strap is tight. Mine started doing that because I don't think it was staying wet during my whole workout.

Great job everyone! Keep up the good work ;) I know it's the 23rd but I weigh in on Thursdays so I will be back then with an update! Keep pushing!!!

Hi ladies! Forget to post on 10/18/12 somehow. Anywho I weighed in at 214 pounds--down two pounds from last week and 5 pounds away from my November goal. I added in a much needed rest day this week. I am hoping to continue with my average 10 pound a month weight loss. We'll see. Keep pushing ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
…

Quick check-in 10/11/12 ! I weighed in at 216 pounds today down two pounds from last week. Keep pushing ladies--you can do it!!!!!!!!!!

Probably. I think I need it. I lost 80 pounds about ten years ago by tracking my food in a handwritten diary. Eventually I stopped tracking food (and exercising) and over the years gained all the weight back and then some. I will have to do some type of logging. It may not be as strict as now once I reach a good…

I don't need a "cheat day" because I eat what I want but make sure I build it into my calorie plan. If I do happen to go over one day I will eat less/exercise more the next so that it balances out weekly.
-
Ha, when I lost weight before there was a rumor spreading that I was on drugs. LOL.

Today's weigh-in 10/4/12 = 218 pounds WooHoo! Down four pounds from last week and at my original goal for October! Yay! I also walked a total of 116 miles in the month of September--I set a personal goal of 90 miles. Keep pushing ladies!

Welcome to the group!

You'll be fine! Just make sure you put in the work to burn it off!

Great job! Glad you're sticking with it!!

You have to count it. Before I started my journey I consumed a lot of calories from alcohol also. I'm on 1200 calories a day too. Quitting the alcohol altogether was not an option for me because I know that I will not stick with a program if I feel deprived. I had to cut the alcohol down. I can't drink everyday because I…
