Eat at maintenance for a month and then get back to it. Your body may need a break. Then, start calorie cycling- if you usually eat 1500 per day times that by 7 and eat a different amount each day. It keeps your body guessing!

I'd start slowly by adding 50-100 calories a day, monitor for a few weeks slowly increasing and stop when you start gaining weight and go back a hundred. Congratulations!

Are you eating 1200 calories a day total or 1200 calories a day after exercise?

bump?

It made me want to juice, that is for sure! I have heard about the loss of fibre due to jucing so I have been blending and having green smoothies in conjunction with clean eating :) Also started using vital greens.

I'm in Australia... I'm thinking about just stopping it. I've survived 23 years without and and I don't want anything getting in the way of my weightloss!

HOT DAMN!!!

I am 5'5 and would like to be 132lbs which is my UGW however I will be happy anywhere between 120lbs and 145lbs.

Love this. I have found that eating carbs not only makes me feel lethargic, fat and frumpy.. but I cannot stay within my calorie range to save my life. One 10cm piece of turkish bread is 200 calories.. That is ridiculous!!!
-
Quest are my favourite.. NO SUGAR ALCOHOLS!!! I just ordered two boxes - Strawberry Cheesecake & Cashew and Coconut.
-
I was wondering this also! I find sometimes I am under my calories by 200-300, but I am full because I have eaten big nutritious meals. Should I eat for the point of eating? or can I "save"these and have an indulgence on the weekend?

I understand where you are coming from. When I started going to the gym earlier in the year, and as I lost weight, many people came and complimented me and made me feel AMAZING for the weight I had lost. Well, I have gained it all back and am mortified to be seen.. but you know what, if I don't, nothing will change. I did…

Thank you for the reply! When I previously lost weight, I used to go to the gym 6 days a week and found that my life outside of my weightloss journey was non-existant. I am looking for a balance to allow me to stay at this for life! My diary is open and I am happy for any feedback.. a standard day is: Breakfast- 2 egg…

I would love some feedback on my exercise routine! Each morning I wake up at 5:00am and do 45 minutes of cardio on an empty stomach before work. I am also planning to do a three day split of weight training- Legs, back & shoulders, arms & chest. I will also do abs daily. I eat 1200 calories a day, and I feel that is…

2 eggs with 1 slice of reduced fat salami, organic feta cheese, onion, tomato and chilli flakes. I call it the “Cranky Chef” omelet and it is amazing.

Currently going through this now. Its been almost a month. Hoping my motivation keeps in again soon.

I am going through this right now. I am now eating 1700 calories + exercising (not eating those back) and have gained weight. I don't care though. I just want to be healthy!
-
Thank you!!! Quick question: I set mine as active, I work out 6 days a week doing weights and cardio. If for some reason I miss a workout, does that mean I should eat less that day?
-
Does 1600 calories seem ok? It feels like a lot in comparisson to how I was eating but I find myself still pretty hungry, even when I hit my calorie goal.
-
I haven't had aunt flo in months.. I went to the doctor and my hormones are all normal so it could be because I was äbusing"my body i.e not eating enough + over exercising. ... I wish I had been more sensible in my initial approach to losing weight.
-
I thought I could. I don't know.. I wish I didnt care what I ate and just followed a strict pla but I need to get out of this äll or nothing mentality. So If I know one night I am going out with friends, I should just try and eat low calorie foods throughout the day so I have more calories at night? Is that right?

No one? :p
