  • Oh how I love pistachios and almonds. I find that half a serving of almonds fills me right up. Pistachios seem to be my current go to nut right now and I do not hesitate to eat them as a snack or with my lunch. I have to make sure that when I bring the bag home from the store that I immediately break it down into serving…
  • I love pistachios and could eat that many without thinking about it. I make it a point when I get home with them to measure them out and put them in baggies so that doesn't happen to me.
  • I have had my share of bad days and just chalk it up to the things that have been mentioned here. My two biggest culprits are not hydrated enough and the same old route. Last week I ran an official 5k in 29 minutes and this week when i did the same route I did it in 32 minutes. I have a friend that swears the weather…
  • I lost weight on WW and did it all online, but after I left my job I had to stop WW because of the price. I had way more success with WW then I have with MFP and find that the information that I have gotten and the habits that I created with WW has helped me to continue to lose weight. I come here for the free tracking…
  • I just saw running challenge and thought I would share my mileage just to see how many miles I run in a month since I never really pay attention to the numbers. Sept 1= 2.59 Sept 5 = 4.14 Sept 6 = 3.2 Sept 8 = 3.1 Sept 11 = 2.5 Sept 14 = 3.76 Sept 16 = 4.0 Sept 19 = 2.61 Sept 20 = 4.08 Sept 21 = 3.2 Sept 23 = 5.09
  • I have never used this program, but I, for one, believe that if this is something that helps people create the habit to eat better and improve their health then I am all for it. I do not believe that it is a "gimmick" rather a system that is put in place to help people improve themselves. If putting food into tupperware…

  • It really does get frustrating! I have lost and gained the same pound every month for the past three months and it is so frustrating! I have 14 pounds to go to get to my goal weight and it is just getting more difficult to stay motivated enough to stick with it. I exercise four to six days a week, stay within my calorie…
  • I started WW in October 12 weighing in at 230 left WW in June of 13 weighing in at 172. Started actively here around the time I left WW and have lost roughly 15 pounds. Just using the rough estimate of numbers that I gave you shows that , for me, WW works far better for me then MFP has and probably ever will. I also find…
  • I love pink lady apples, but they are getting harder to find this time of year! I am also a huge fan of pistachios and almonds, but some people do not like to eat them because of the fat content. I am looking forward to trying the Outshine bars because every once in a while something like that sounds good for the summer…
  • Good luck!! I burned over 2000 calories last week and kept under my calorie goal about 300 a day and still gained a pound. I am almost to the breaking point of giving up and I still have 15 pounds to lose.
  • Congrats on graduating!! I will be graduating with my third degree in 10 days and I cannot wait!! I love college and would really like to get my Ph.D, but one could only dream! I say celebrate all you want because you have earned it!!
  • I have 8 pounds to go, but I really think that I should lose another 5-10 after that so I can get within the mid range of the BMI chart.
  • I also get so confused with everything and will be following this to see the answers.
  • Wow, some of those weights seem really low to me, but good for you all if you reach it. My goal weight is 145-150 which is just find for this 45 year old. I believe I was 145 when I got married at the age of 28 so I will take it! Shortly after my husband passed away I was at 135 and just looked sickly so I will not go that…
  • I followed the program that way that it was, but did walk on the days that I didn't do C25K. I did make sure that I took at least one day a week off to rest which I feel is very important when it comes to exercising.
  • Personally I do not do any special type of cleanse because like most other people mentioned your body cleanses itself everyday.
